How are you going to continue to bodybuild when the food shortages and water shortages arrive?
When mass death and starvation is upon us.

When droughts and desertification get so extreme that crop failure is widespread.
When well over half the people on this earth die.

Nowadays I live the life of a spoiled yuppie in the city.
But once upon a time, about 5 years ago, I lived on a farm in the forests of Southern Oregon and learned hw to live off the land.
Food, water, shelter, medicine, I know ho to get it all from the land.
While you all you rushing to loot the grocery store and shooing each other. I'll just trap a rabbit and eat it by the campfire.

Humans really don't need much food to live. But they do need water. However we already have the technology to turn sea water into drinking water. Although, when Armageddon hits, it will be the middle class and the rich who won't be able to handle the emotions that the poor will unleash on them. The people who survive(other than the super elite) will be the ones who have already dealt with suffering. Suffering=strength.

Truth^^^ Start implementing "fasting" into your weekly routine. I water fast every Monday and Thursday. Sometimes drinking just liquid egg whites on those days if it becomes too much. Fasting twice a week while weight training will NOT hurt any kind of muscle growth. However, it teaches your body to do without. Which may just come in handy in the near future. ;)

I am not worried about it at all. I will be retirement age by then so at least I got to live somewhat of a life. People have been saying that stuff for decades and still here we are. I hope it does happen.

There are a couple big signs to watch out for- #1 when people cannot buy milk and bread at the grocery store. The entire country is pacified, we always sit around saying how much we hate the country but let's be real, as long as the nation can easily and cheaply feed itself we are cool. When inflation hits and milk is $20 a gallon and regular jobs still pay like $10 an hour you can expect things to get ugly FAST.
#2 is another world war. Trust me nations aren't going to battle for no reason. If you see major countries (china india for example) going at it, ignore the bs reason they give because shit doesn't happen for no reason. Wars of the future will be fought for resources so as long as things are cool do not worry. When shits going down that is when you need to worry.
And like I said we have another 20-30 years.

The amount of pollution to the environment. The amount of species driven to extinction and the environmental chain reaction.

I agree. Huge scale meat industry is a major damage to the environment because it takes a LOT of grains to raise those animals, and to get those grains they have to turn more land into farmland. Which means destroying more native habitat, sprawling out further.
But this is just like 1% of the problem. It's a drop in the bucket with all the other things also happening.

I got wrapped up in this whole mind set for about 2 years. I was always spending all of my fucken money on guns and ammo food and water ect. I layed in bed doing mental checklists of things I needed. Started stressing me out and consuming all of my thoughts. Its good to have a few weapons, ammo, water purification, extra food for a few months but you can get to wrapped up in this way of thinking.

You can buy rice and beans for pretty cheap. Get some plastic buckets from the local bakers they will give them to you for free a lot of times. Put a couple of oxygen absorbers in the buckets and you will have a cheap food supply that can come in real handy.

I'm just gonna set up a place in a remote forest were I can live off the land. Enough animals to hunt and enough plants to pick. Also stock up on food. Someday live there full time with animals and crops. When I go back to US i'm gonna get started on that.
Being able to live off the land with minimum need for anything else is essential. Urban and suburban people will be fucked, they'll be looting the grocery stores and killing each other really quick.
Rural people with gardens and animals and stock piles of food and supplies will be in much better shape to survive.
