I'm sure you're a strong guy and all but if you're doing "flies" with 100-lb DBs you're probably not actually doing a fly.
-
Nice numbers bro!!

Nice numbers bro!!
thanks man...
ive started to listen to you mature trainers here ...
that training felt better than going to failure on every excersise

this
-
I think you should always mix it up.
Go all out on days you feel great, and on other days stop just shy of failure or leave a little in the tank so you can go heavier on each set such as you did here.
At any rate,damned impressive bud!

Shit,I use the 75`s in good form at times at a bodyweight of 176.
Only 5-6 reps but the form is almost textbook.

the most impressive part is that he does this all on a diet of bamboo shoots and tea leaves.

if he's pressing 145 with ease he's flying with 100's no problem.... i do wonder about some people on here!

Abdominal Snowman, I'm not sure if you're familiar with "mesmorph78", but he blows Arnold away strength-wise, plus is a lifetime natural to boot, so normal rules do not apply to him.

Lifts arent really to impressive. Im usually working my way up too 180s for 10 on incline and 200s for 12 on flat. Also when i switch to the smith incline im usually working with 4 plates at the least. Oh and i also only weigh 200. Do u have any tips on improving my legs though?

So you're saying they don't look like these
what amazes me about his physique is how thick he is, yet his shoulders are comparatively weak.

He didn't inject HgH into the shoulders like the pros of today

Arnold lookes extra yolked in that pic
I thing his shoulders fit perfectly with his physique
I've always maintained sets that are too big ruin a physique ... See* rhul Jay kamali And to some extent Nasser
-
I'd probably get injured just thinking about doing flys with a 100+
Crazy weights for anyone!
-
yes i was actually.... i never ego train
Hell, most getbiggers never train ;D

Meso, really, this post should've been done on the training board. To post it on the G&O board (which of course is the most popular and most viewed board on GB) rather than on the Training board (which is one of the least popular and viewed; typical GB right?) just indicates to me you just wanted the attention. Sorry brah. I'm not a hater either, as I think your lifts are very impressive.

Ground breaking stuff.

Your insights are amazing. Thanks for sharing. Maybe Arnold is a double-yolked egg?

I like how he said he wasn't going to reply anymore (in his own thread) then made two more replies.

I understand where you're coming from. But I'm sure you realize that by listing the poundages that you use rather than just simply listing down how many reps you're doing each set or other intricacies of how you perform the exercises, that it will come off to some if not most that you're just showing off. I use the 145's on Incline Dumbell Presses for 7 to 8 reps myself, but even posting this I'm aware that most readers will doubt it.

people don't doubt it so much as meso modest is kind of a pompous ass who deserves shit ... sort of like groin. they both periodically need validation from anonymous strangers on the web who do not work out. on another note, they both probably lie about drug usage, but that is up in the air... the pompous ass part isnt.

Where I pres 160 lbs dumbbells or 60 lbs is irrelevant
As heavy is relative
But my guess if I could only press the latter (60lbs) it would be cool ... And I wouldn't be a show off then
Human nature is a funny thing.
I post the poundage because it's what I do Why should I be ashamed of it or hide it. Or better yet tell me what would be an acceptable poundage to list 70lbs would that be ok and not be showing off
...
Please...

I'm waiting for Mesmorph's structured calves session day .

You shouldn't be ashamed of your lifts at all; you should be proud. I'm proud of the progress I've made over the past 20 years of working out (I still remember struggling with the 65's). But the pride should be within yourself, and that in itself should be enough. Again, you know that by listing your poundages that many on here will view it as you showing off, which will get in the way of what you say you're trying to accomplish by posting your chest workout. Why not just post the workout without any poundages?

Do you like doing inclines 1st, then flat, or flat then incline?
switch it up on dumbell day I'll do incline dumbells first then flat
On barbell day I do bench press first then incline... But to be fair nowadays I more dumbbell work than barbell work because I think they are superior to barbells also harder

Like I said to me I'm just listing my poundages and I think nothing of it I'm not gonna hide the to spare feelings ... Its a bbing or lifting forum why should I not post my poundage
...
So let's say this was a baking forum ... Me listing the ingredients used to bake my cake is showing of ???
And more importantly like I said if I was lifting let's say 60lbs it would be ok to post it
Whatever....
I don't really care about the trolls etc who come out with foolishness
If I think I've had a good workout .. Where I think I've learned something or I will post it andmore often than not I will post the poundage whether it's 10 lbs flyes or 100lb ... Simple
Meso
I see many guys eg matt c listing his poundages all the time
Those who don't like it ... Simple solution don't open the thread
Simple

Ok, I know that if I do inclines b/f flat, i sometimes feel more tired...than if ai do flat b/f incline....it's odd
-
Incline are quite harder than flat .. So doing them after flat can be quite challenging
