Maybe because he was just a worthless can. The same thing happened when he attempted MMA. He'll win a few fights against guys nobody washups and then once he gets in the ring with someone who is remotely competitive he'll drop to the floor faster than a Mississippi cotton picker.

no his mistake was letting some tap-out wearing idiots tell him how to fight, dismantling his killer instinct and turning him into some kind of mma "stragetist" as if fighting is some kind of chess game.
kimbo can literally break open your skull with a punch. hes done it before, check his old youtube videos. a guy like that just needs to go in there throwing hay makers and he will be unstoppable.

i've seen the videos years ago stud, hence the clothesline pole reference. look it up. the reason shit like haymakers don't work is because they teach you on day one of mma how to avoid stupid shit like that.
i will admit kimbo has retard strength, and he could split my head in two, but you have to remember a retired mma fighter who came out of retirement as a plumber after not fighting for 4 years embarassed kimbo into retirement from mma.

yeah, i liked him during the show too. he was very humble and you can tell he tried hard. he said he had something like 5 kids to feed, and that's why he did. but you can't teach an old dog new tricks. he can only last so long vs a trained 21 year old of the same size.

Did you ever took a good kick in the leg?? It hurts like hell. You get used the pain but it still f** hurt, especially if you are not used to it. A lot of boxer's who take on kick boxing or mma are always amazed about the pain a good old low kick inflicts.

Kimbo can't beat a top 10 HW to get a fight with one of the Russians. They can milk a 10-0 record vs club fighters but he'll have to fight a legit top 15 guy at some point. I don't think he could beat a 48 yr old Holyfield or whatever his age is.

i'm aware, but if he is looking for a retirement package fight at 38 or whatever his age is, he'll have to upgrade, pull an upset and use his hype to get a fight at least against a guy like Haye, if that's all he can get down the road. i don't have a problem with his street fights for 3k in S Florida, MMA or his boxing career. He could be beating the shit out of people collecting money for someone in little Haiti instead. Good for him.

Did you locate that Wade guy in any ranking list? You can't, because he isn't there. One previous fight as pro, knocked out just like Kimbo did. It would be nice to see this guy against Klichko.

Kimbo slice will do much worse in boxing than he did in MMA. In MMA it is much easier to bully someone around with weight strength and aggression, but boxing is a sport that doesn't reward brute strength so much. There is much less contact between the bodies, there is much less making up for weaknesses by training in another aspect of the sport, like getting by with grappling and not having to learn to punch. In boxing you have to be at least good at everything in order to get a chance to be something.
THis is what's going to happen to kimbo: he will come across a taller weaker but better fighter, he will miss miss miss and then eat a straight right and miss again. The straight right wont hurt him physically, but he asks himself, how did he do that. How is he not scared. THen he goes in again, miss miss and eats a right again and a then left uppercut to the body and he is finished because his opponent figured him out.
There's a debate on Mike Tyson in another thread, and people who say he can't touch Ali are right but they exaggerate. Tyson was no fraud, he was very very good, problem is that he was small. He could punch hard, but I gaurentee Froman and Ali hit harder. WHy? THey were bigger. WHen you look at Tyson punching, it is impressive because he's almost lunging at people, but he has to do this because is smaller than them. A lot of time that he lands that left hook, his right foot is almost off the ground. THis results ina loss of leverage. Van B stated before that he tore his pec in the first or second rep of the first set, and this is evidence that your muscles exert the most force in the beginning, well this is true for boxing too. Tyson got a lot of early KOs because he let it all go in the first and second round, after that he turned into a mediocre fighter because his muscles no longer had the energy to deliver the force necessary to bully his opponents around. This is the kind of fighter that Kimbo is, it's why he lost to some gay kid on 1 week notice
