I can't say for sure, but I do know he should've beaten Porter Cottrell at the 1993 NOC.
-
I'd say the 95 Arnold Classic.
-
2001 Arnold Classic
-
brb restarting chrome because i cant see shit
-
I'd say when he placed 4th at the Arnolds. His conditioning was good, but never in the league of a Shawn Ray or Wheeler.

munzer is a good exampe of how genetic abs really are.
for his level of shreddedness he didn't display overly defined and cut abs.

all muscles are genetic , the allotment of muscle cells , shape , length , etc

Munzer must have had really bad genetics. Insane amount of drugs and never got over 220 or smth.

Bad genetics? ??? worse conditioning than Shawn and Flex? ??? does not compute

You really think Munzer was able to hang with those guys? Idk.
And yes, he definetely had sub-par massbuilding genetics. That's why he had to overcompensate with insane amounts of drugs and still wasn't able to hang with the top guys mass-wise.

In terms of conditioning , I think Munzer blows them both away , in terms of shape and aesthetic NO he really doesn't compare
I mean massbuilding genetics? I mean you could say the same about Shawn Ray because he was light , but you can also say he didn't go to extremes as Munzer did , it's all speculation anyway. Andy had a nice combo of size and conditioning but to say he had sub-par genetics really isn't accurate maybe in terms of aesthetics sure but he was working to his strengths

ND, do you know if Labrada announced his retirement before the contest? I've always thought he might've been awarded 3rd place for that. It was close between him and AM in the 95 AC, but I'd have had no problem with them switching places.

Absolutely. I almost included a clause describing this but didn't because it's self explanatory, but I found it remarkable that his abs was not more defined given his extreme condition.
-
All this talk about Munzer's conditioning...
I've never been that impressed with his conditioning. He is as shredded as most pros were back in the 80's.
Aside from that, I always thought he shape was "ok", possibly bordering on mediocre.

I don't recall if it was before or after the contest he retired , good question. I have to try and find out.

His claim to fame was his striations which he had more than any other pro but you're right as far as dryness and density it wasn't that exceptional and his shape is what held him back in the pro ranks

Munzer deserves a little more respect { imo } in this thread. The guy looked GREAT. Shitty genetics ??? Hardly ! Insane conditioning and a great poser to boot.

At the funeral. Hardly any water retention.

Or he didnt train them at all. Some guys have genetically flat abs, they need to be worked in order to be more pronounced.

Munzer and Momo were the victims of modern bodybuilding. Its only muscles fellas, not worth dying over!

Please... Get a sense of humor and spare me your sense of indignation.
I've got a very good sense of humour. You are a pos.
-
You think the skeleton of Andreas is now crying in its coffin?
He's not here to defend himself. I just found the comment extremely disrespectful towards a deceased person.
-
One of the best front lat spreads of all time.
-

Why should we respect him?
-
f you look at him in comparison shots he really wasn't undersized at all. Legs were very big, delts were big and his back wasn't an embarassment.
-
Definitely the most ripped and striated guy ever in bodybuilding
-
You think the skeleton of Andreas is now crying in its coffin?
Too dry for tears. That's what he wanted.
-
wtf is w8m8 to keep booty in line
