Anyone want to post some pics to compare the different body fat levels?
For example: 5%, 10%, 15% and so on
I am quite bad at judging body fat levels so I don't want to post something that isn't correct.

5%- Ripped to the bone, stage ready more or less.
7-9 - Everything is clear, and deeply etched. Most folks that are considered extremely ripped to regular folks eyes are in this range. Seldom do you see anyone below this range in real life.
10-12 - All abs are clear to be seen. Decently etched separation to the major muscle groups.
15- You might see 2-3 abs, if you're decently muscled at this range. You'll also have decently defined delts, triceps, biceps, firm legs, etc...., but you'll have a layer of fat over them.

there is not even one natural that go on stage at 5% they all go 6% or over and ripped!
at 8% you will not always see 6 pack very clear even at 7% you will see 6 pack but it wont be tunneled cut at times,, it changes from individual to individual ,,
what most of yuo confuse for fat is pure water,, there is some bodyfat it is minimal on most bodybuild on hormones,,it mostly water weight between skin and muscle that create skin rhickness you fellas confuse with fat

What I offered up was a rough guideline that will get the casual observer within a point or two of actual bodyfat. Which in the real world is all that's needed for most people.

x2 - I find a huge difference in how my abs look first thing in the morning vs. mid-day even, after a few meals. Bodyweight also fluctuates 7-8 lbs depending on the time of day. Its definitely not bodyfat that's changing so much in a single day.

over all between first pic and last pic 2% bodyfat andmainly water weight,, its pretty much all same in the zone of 6-8% with diff lighting diff days diff nutrition diff timing...diff many things as you know with pictures nothing coms out the way it really is ,, pictures are illusions in time

fellas is ripedin pictures 2 and3 and SHREDED in pic 1 ....mainly ripped and or shreded in all 3 pictures only lighting change the final outcome of picture,, take pic in bathroom mirror with thecamera on no flash....itcomes out yellow with shadows all the right places...if you are tann and shaved you canbring 8% to look liek 6%,,dependign on pose etc,, he is all about the same there 2% diff over all

do you mean permantently dry? i'd say a steady intake of water will make the body flush wather than retain. and much less sodium in your food, meaning less sauces, less junk.
i have no evidence for this; but a cleaner type of diet with slower carbs seems to help me with water retention.
caffeine is just a quick fix. the body will respond by holding more water when the water level is below normal. i drink very much caffeine throughout the days and i hold water like a cactus
