boxing gives him a punchers chance, which he should have in just about any fight. give him a dozen more cans, and a descent trainer. he could be a guy outside the top 25, maybe he gets a shot at a contender in 2 yrs for a good paycheck. HW division is soft like bbing at this moment. couldn't wrestle or kick, so he was a lost cause in mma.

Kimbo is a knockout artist/street brawler from Miami. When fighting strictly hand to hand, he could be nasty! He was not meant for MMA, but maybe could be the next solid heavyweight US boxer.

Correct. He hits hard. He has always the possibility to knock people out. If it lasts long than a few rounds he could be in trouble though.

Kimbo Slice as a boxer is garbage just like he was as MMA fighter!
Remember that Kimbo lost and got his ass kicked by an overweight white cop before in a street fight and a nobody MMA fighter with pink hair in the UFC bout!
Now he is fighting bums in the heavyweight division a disgaceful division populated by bums,exept for the Klitshko brothers.
If you really like boxing and appreciate boxing skill and courage watch that fight below, problably the best fight of the year!
De Marco vs Linares (WBC lightweight title: Oct-15-2001) they fought in the undercard of the disgraceful bout between Hopkins vs Dawson on Staple Center last saturday nite!
Don't waist your time watching an old , slow,roided bum like Kimbo who is fighting other bums paid to go down at the first punch he trow!
Kimbo Slice is not a good boxer like he was not a good MMA fighter but he is just a strong tough good only for street fighting with no business in the ring or the cage!

That was a great fight , Linares lost that fight because he listened to his corner (Freddie Roach).
Linares is winning the fight has a cut on the nose and eye , he's the superior technician all he had to do is circle around , jab,jab and avoid DiMarco power punches for two rounds but Freddie Roach fucked up '' You're looking good, don't let him back you up'' ::)

Watching that Linares/DeMarco fight was awesome...got me soo hyped up for the Main Event..but then B-hop pulled some bullshit and basically added another nail in the coffin to the 'sport' of boxing with his garbage.

He won't brother ,he doesn't have boxing fundamentals, no amateur background, he's old, no gas tank , he's the new Butterbean ,the best he can do is beat some ''C'' level fighters.

I dont think he is going to shock people with condition or technique. He just always has a chance to get a quick knockout. If the fight lasts more than a few rounds he will gas out and fall over.

dumb shi t, he can only dream of a path similar to butter bean, who had 35-40 straights wins, beat mcneilly when he was contender and held the ifba ::) belt. btw knuckle dragger, michale nunn pretty much got his start on espn and won the nabf ::) belt. the point is a bunch of cans, 20-30 wins and a ready made top 20 guy he can land a lucky punch on and win. shit, he probably can make more money than sergio martinez. maybe they should fight since sergio cant get a fight. ::)

Kimbo is a complete joke and any comparison to Mike Tyson is as well.
You see this big Irish lug a young Mike Tyson is fighting? 9 wins 18 losses. But big and tough with decent skills (much like that Boston cop), it took Mike 4 rounds to dispose of him.
Kimbo wouldn't stand a chance with this type of fighter (big, decent skill and jab). He would literally be gassed and wanting to throw in the towel like a bitch after about 3 rounds.
Slice is all hype and all about money, it wouldn't shock me in the least if we see him involved in a few rigged fights at some point in the near future.
