Given more control in the worker to pick/select there own hours. Might sound crazy but if you expand on the idea it might actually improve things.

I was thinking economic policies, how the hell does this help ???.. You can't possibly mean that workers should get to pick their own hours ???
Average worker = no unternehmergeist.. Picking their own hours lol

tell the banks to start loaning money to people wanting to start a business.
-
Waiting for dr chimps
-
the state cannot stimulate entrepreneurship per se, the best the state can do to improve quality of life is stay out of the chain of supply and demand, instead of ruining everything in the country as we see has happened in the US
-
tax incentives would be a big one. full waiver for the first year of business, maybe even two.

Just listen to Ron Paul, stud.

then you will get scammers, people being defrauded, you need state and federal protections against this. Also oversight laws to make sure there is no fishy business going on. Really the fed needs to infiltrate wall street and arrest all the inside trading and bullshit that goes on, instead of operation gear grinder or some shit, operation filthy greed. Also make it mandatory that the CEO only get 30x more pay than the average worker, and spread the wealth around the company, enough with these companies going public only to do what is best for the share holders, the stock market is a greed fest that is not what a christian country should have.

Less regulation. Quit chasing businesses outta town.

and you will get massive oil explosions like they had offshore, do you want the US to turn into China that has dirty shit everywhere? We need regulations to protect the civilians from the corporations that already don't give a fuck to pay the workers a fair wage, do you think they will give a shit if they pollute your water, or the air around your house, hell no! It is all for profit and nothing will stop them once you stop regulating. More regulations, also need to regulate banks or nationalize them so they cannot charge these stupid fee's that they are coming up with, while making record profits.

Fuck regulation.

Less regulation.
this.... but the dipshits will always throw in the out lying examples. Nobody is suggesting having ZERO regulations, but if we are going to compete in a global market the govt can not keep imposing the same type of regulations and tax structure that we currently have. Anybody who argues differently is simply a fool or an asshole.

we should not be competing in a global market, enough with that fair trade shit, stop letting businesses outsource, or penalize them for doing so. Put a tariff on all goods coming into this country so it is not a viable option for companies to use cheap products from China, will take walmart out of the equation. Create jobs here, manufacturing, etc etc. We cannot compete with people making goods for 1$ an hour. Unless you want that to be your standard of living too.
-
stop letting businesses outsource, or penalize them for doing so.
Bullshit, they FORCE them to outsource.
-
How did you start your business JT....oh wait, nevermind.
-
the state has no place in encouraging "entrepreneurship" whatever the fuck that word's supposed to mean in american vernacular
-
Why? I can understand California becuase they drive businesses out of the state. But other states should take interest.
-
Two words: TEX AS
-
This....but we are starting another speed camp on Guam.
-
I agree, tax incentives and less regulations are the way to go, other than that I don't support interfering and keeping companies alive artificially w subsidies, not even in the start up phase

“If foreign governments want to use their taxpayers money to sell people in the United States goods below cost, why should we complain? Their own taxpayers will complain soon enough and it will not last for very long. History provides lots of evidence on what happens when government protected industries compete with industries who have to operate in an open and free market. It’s almost always the goverment protected industries that come out second best. Ask Sir Freddy Laker, the englishman who introduced low cost airtraffic across the Atlantic, who were his chief competitors? They were all government protected, government financed, government regulated airlines. He came out very well, made a lot (?) of money and you and I have gotten cheaper travel across the Atlantic. Nothing could promote the long run health of the steel industry, make it into a more efficient, profitable and productive industry then for the US government to keep its hands off. Neither providing special privileges nor imposing special restraints and what’s true for the steel industry is true for every other industry in the country” - Milton Friedman

incentivize venture capital with tax breaks when the startup turns a profit. If the thing goes belly up its a tax write-off. If you'll give to charity as a tax write off you'll have a punt on a flash harry with an idea.

-
Bullshit, they FORCE them to outsource.

They are also un American in what they are doing, they don't care about America, they care about their companies stock price and their paycheck, they are traitors.

Dude, I don't know where you're getting your info from. But when you start regulating and taxing the shit out of companies they are FORCED to make cuts to survive. So you go back and tell your little leftist professor (because thats the only place where a kid that still lives with his parents learns this shit from) to suck a dick. You have NO clue on how the business world works let alone life.

A LLC (Limited Liability Corporation) in the USA is the cheapest and best way to go.

there are countries with zero regulations and (close to) zero taxes. no minimum wage, no maximum work day, no worker saftey laws, no environmental protections, etc. unless you willing to forgoe all of those regulations and cut taxes down to nothing.. then your plan will NEVER be successful, as business will ALWAYS go to where it cheapest to produce. basic economics son. so you have two options... either eliminate a few hundred years of progress and revert to basically slav labor and massive pollution .... or do something like what reepingfor20 advocates here=

and then once we have our own countries running smoothly we can open up free trade globally, but only when the other countries agree to all the same regulations and protections that we have, as well as equal tax rates. the economic concept of "comparative advantage" which dictates that free trade makes the entire world better doesnt allow for variables in regulations, taxes. and thats why free trade doesnt work like it should.

idiot, companies started outsourcing jobs overseas during times when they were already making record profits. they werent forced to outsource. they chose to in order to make more money.

How's YOUR business going?

How's YOUR business going?
lol, cant continue the debate so resort to ad hominem. classic coach.
the point remains.. companies were not forced to outsource because of problems with profitability, they chose to outsource to increase existing profits.

Tfag, it's none of your business who a company chooses to hire

then its none of your business if they want to pay $1 per day, mandatory 12 hour work days, 7 days/week, no time for lunch breaks, massive pollution during production process, etc. its their business, their choice, who the fuck are you to tell them how to spend their money ?
fucking idiot
-
once again son, not thinking through your arguments to their full implications...... not to mention their direct effects
-
it feels good to be right but damn it feels even worse knowing other people are so wrong.. :-X

have fun with that set of opinions.... heres a hint= common sense always outweighs "political principle" :)

There is no such thing as a free market, there is no capitalism, there is no socialism...there is only human nature following its genetically programmed will to increase 'status and priviledge' within the current domesticated primate society.
Any attempt to implement a "system" at odds with this fact will inevitably collapse.

You do know companies are turning record profits right? They aren't just surviving LOL, what a load of bullshit. They can afford to pay their employee's double or more, they are just too greedy to, and want to please shareholders, what utter bullshit, Obama 2012 and beyond, unionize whole country.
They are not forced omg that is so funny, coach you make me laugh, look at the companies net profits, it's hilarious what you say.

What about all the precious legislation that was already in place for offshore oil rigging when that happened? Using legislation as a scapegoat to thwart accidents is a horrible argument and irrational at best.
