Thanks bro! I'm gonna make a thread w/ pics and my diet/cycle afterwards, entire prep was based on the bible so the prep wasn't typical of most. Almost there!

So pre-judging is done, finished a couple hours ago. The night show starts in 4 hours, but I won't be onstage until about 6 hrs from now. I ended up weighing in at 189lbs yesterday(LHW goes from 180-198 at this show), got onstage at 195lbs today, will continue filling up until I go onstage for the finals. Very happy about how I look. Got to see pics of all the comparisons and I think i'll be 2nd or 3rd. The guy who i think will win is a couple inches taller and a little dryer than I am, we were very similar shape/structure/size wise though.

Hope to see the pics NN!

Muscle19 came in as lightweight and wowed ppl w conditioning. I'll let him choose the pics to put up. I helped him dry out and fill up & think we did a great job.

Can't wait to hear results for both!

I actually am getting certified as nutritionist & have been looking to gain clientele for a while. Doing the show was intended to help that cause.

Great experience , was shredded and dry, most ripped and dry guy by far just need time to put more size on. All competitors were amazing and met so many good dudes. Congrats man. You were locked in and didn't complain at some of the cruel stuff I made you do. Now go have those pancakes you hoped to carb up on  :D

Put up some of the pics, before and after drying out. I hope you got more snapped at the show, theres a long time between them!

Nasty Nate, how did it go?

So I ended up getting 3rd in the Light-Heavyweight class! I'm very happy about that placing being this is a provincial/state level show which means i'm now nationally qualified too! The guy that won it got 2nd last year, he was a little sharper than me. There was supposed to be 8 of us after we weighed in Friday, but then come saturday only 5 of us showed up. Apparently nothing happened health wise, they just backed out. Alot of people said that 2nd and 3rd were a toss-up, the guy that beat me there finished 2nd in this class last year, so they each basically just moved up a placing, and he looked great. I was the youngest in the class being 22, the other guys were 29-38, but I managed to hang with them. Anyway here's a few pics, i'll be getting a lot more in a couple weeks once the promoter gets them sent to me. Got some great feedback on my physique and presentation/posing. There was a pro there who gave me my trophy and he said that I looked so comfortable on stage during my routine and he loved my transitions, was shocked it was my first show and said i'm a naturally good poser. I didn't even practice though and I picked the song the day before lol... cool to hear though. I went into this not knowing what to expect, so it was great to hear.

Oh, and just wanted to mention my brother won the Middleweight Class and got 2nd in the Juniors. The Junior that won was 6' 240lbs and my brother is 5'9 175lbs so they went with size there. My brother had better conditioning by far though, some of the best in the show if not the best actually. He just did nationals a month ago so he rebounded and came in even better here.

This prep was based entirely on gh15's bible. The diet, cycle, training, everything. I might make a thread and go into details just for fun.

Stats here: 22 years old, 5'8 200lbs(190lbs at weigh-ins 24 hr before)

That's awesome bro! Congrats to you! I agree about how much fun it is just meeting people, I was kinda quiet and nervous before pre-judging, but at the night show I was talking to lots of people and having fun. The stress is gone now and it's time to blow up from within!

Both of you guys looked and did great. NN you are wiiiiiiiide... IMO you should play w some blood volume pump style workouts for arms, delts and chest and stck to basics for large muscle groups. Try some carb cycling even offseason too to stay full.

Awesome job guys! M19, put up some pics bro, you were shredddedddd!

Yeah i started doing some supersets for those bodyparts you mentioned not too long ago, arms actually came up during the prep a bit. For quads/hams i do 3 exercises each and they grow well, just starting to figure out what works for my arms now. I like the supersets, they make my arms feel super pumped all over. I've been trying to isolate my chest more so I now begin my workouts with db flyes, then go into a press, the a flye, then another press... Just so my shoulders don't do the work like when I start with presses.
