IMO, most republican voters realized after Cain bragged about being ignorant on foreign policy, that he probably wasn't going to be a good choice on any national ticket.
He's a footnote now, polling at 15% for what are essentially the Palin crowd, let's be honest. The same people who cherish being media martyrs, who believe anyone with a high school diploma is part of the "elite". No standards.

The calls were made during four different months— calls or texts made as early as 4:26 in the early morning, and as late as 7:52 at night. The latest were in September of this year.

The female bodybuilder who once ran a bicycle business with latest Herman Cain accuser Ginger White says the Atlanta woman never mentioned the Republican presidential candidate, who she says was her lover for 13 years.
"His name has never come up," said Kimberly Vay, who told ABC News that she and White were former business partners.
But Vay, who filed and won a libel lawsuit against White, refused to comment directly when asked whether she considers White's accusations about Cain credible. "When you see the details of my lawsuit," said Vay, "they will speak for themselves." She then referred ABC News to her attorney.
According to Vay's suit, which was filed in June 2011, White and Vay were partners in a fitness coaching business called No Limit Cycling, and held spinning classes inside the Martin Luther King Recreation Center, which is owned by the City of Atlanta. In November 2010, claimed Vay, White asked to end their partnership, with White continuing to operate No Limit Cycling, and Vay agreed.
On December 9, according to the complaint, White sent a "defamatory" note to a master email list of the company's clients and to city officials. The email said that White's business had "come tumbling down [on] the day I invited Kim Vay into my life and my business" and that Vay had turned her "dream" into a "nightmare." According to the complaint, the email alleged that Vay, a competitive bodybuilder, injected veterinary drugs into her system prior to contests," and also said that Vay preferred to date black men but had made derogatory comments about black women's hair.
Vay's complaint termed the allegation about drug use "false, malicious, defamatory" and "reckless," and therefore libelous.
Both women retained attorneys, according to Vay's account, and reached an out-of-court settlement in April 2011. In June, Vay filed suit, claiming that White had failed to live up to the settlement and that she was entitled to sue for libel. Vay's attorney Kurt Martin told ABC News that White had failed to honor the financial agreement that had settled the case.
Vay also told ABC News that she had filed a petition for a restraining order against White, but that the petition was never finalized and no restraining order was issued.

Then you RAILED on him for lying, in regards to the issue of Kraushaar's severance deal/settlement. And you went on that tirades for WEEKS, calling Cain a liar, even when Cain clarified what he meant on Greta Van Stustren's show AND when the release of the severance deal to Kraushaar's lawyer backed Cain's statements.

"His name has never come up," said Kimberly Vay, who told ABC News that she and White were former business partners.
But Vay, who filed and won a libel lawsuit against White, refused to comment directly when asked whether she considers White's accusations about Cain credible. "When you see the details of my lawsuit," said Vay, "they will speak for themselves." She then referred ABC News to her attorney.

One, Cain was NEVER SUED for jack. He was ACCUSED of harassment. An investigation was done; Cain was cleared. and the women got severance deals. In fact, Cain wasn't even a part of those deals, as I've shown multiple times.
You see, in order to sue someone, you actually have to go to court. Of course, you don't bother asking why these women got a measley $81,000, in an era when women were cleaning up (averaging $300,000 in sexual harassment cases, winning two-thirds of the time).
Could it be that those women would have LOST in court and been up to their eyeballs in legal fees (i.e., a certain blonde who claimed Cain grabbed her goodies and nearly forced her to blow him to get her job back, yet hugged and schmoozed with this same guy nearly a decade and half later)?
Two, as I've said, I give Cain the benefit of the doubt, until HARD evidence says otherwise.
Flimsy claims from White, notorious for LIBEL AND STALKING, don't count as hard evidence.
YOU, on the other hand, bleated and wailed, about Cain lying to you. But, you have no problem with Gringrich's lying.
YOU have blasted Cain for alleged adultery (with, thus far, little-to-no proof); but you have no issue with Gingrich's ACTUAL adultery.
So the double-standard flap is on YOU.

Rep. Allen West (R-Fla.) said Wednesday he would advise Herman Cain to let voters “move on” from the distraction of his campaign.
Cain told his campaign this week it is time to “reassess” in light of the resurfacing of old sexual harassment allegations and new accusations this week that he carried on a 13-year affair.
"Beyond reassessing his campaign, he probably needs to understand that he is a distracter for what's going on right now and we should move on," West told WMAL’s radio show “Morning Majority.”
