Title: Movie with sex scene on a plane? - bad or no big deal?
Post by: BIG ACH on January 08, 2012, 08:02:38 PM

Ok, so one thing I love to do to make the time go by on a plane ride is watch movies on my tablet... (no not porn you sick fuckers)...  But as I'm an adult, most movies I watch are R-rated... and some of them have sex scenes in them.  I get very embarassed and sometimes even turn my tablet away or try to cover it or fast forward to get past that scene...

Is this bad etiquette or really no big deal?

(bodybuilding related:  I wouldn't watch men in thongs on a plane!)

I call bullshit, everyone knows you're on the No Fly list. ::)

No.... but a few years back... EVERYTIME I travelled security procedures were GREATLY enhanced for me...

Some examples:

2004:  At a check in counter in Providence airport, FBI agents were called to question me because my name matched up with a wanted terrorist... 2 guys came, black suit, black tie, black sunglasses - just like in the movies, spent less than 5 minutes with me and apologized and let me on my flight

2006:  At a check in counter in London on my honeymoon, a call to security was made because my name matched up with a wanted terrorist again

Every time I flew in or out of the US from 2003-2009, I was always taken for secondary screening

2010:  This was by far the weirdest encounter.  I was in London Heathrow airport about to board a plane to Washington.  Right at the gate they told me I was randomly selected for extra security and I'm always very humble, nice, and cooperative when this happens, its the easiest way to get through it, so they took me to the side and searched my carry on... but here is where it got weird... after they were done, instead of telling me you can get on the plane, they go "please step to the side, this other gentleman would like to ask you some more questions"...
so I walk over to a guy, and I notice he has a blackberry in his hand, and on that blackberry, is an old picture of me????  and the man realized I saw it and he hid the screen from me very quickly, I get over to him and it turns out he's an AMERICAN CIA agent (IN LONDON??), he asks me some more questions, and then apologizes to me, and lets me on the flight!

Its a tough time to be an Arab these days  ;D

I can honestly say I have never been pulled to the side or subjected to "extra screening".

Here's an idea..

Become a flamboyant homosexual.

Have you ever seen an Arabian, flamboyant homosexual in public?  Better yet, have you ever seen the FBI or CIA padding down a gay Arab in the airport?

Answer to both: no.

Become a flamboyant gay man, problem solved..

Don't feel too bad big ach about the random extra screenings. I've been picked the last two times for them. I'm a clean cut white guy with a southern accent. I was fairly aggravated the first time by my ex texting me so I guess security picked up on that. I'm far from being a stereotypical plane bomber though lol

What drives me nuts is when people walking down the aisle stop and lean up on your chair to watch your screen.  I had someone's kid walk up and stand next to my seat to watch, it was cute at first but after 10 times I was about to back hand the little runt.

I've had a movie on where all of a sudden it was full out sex scene just as the flight attendant came by and saw.  Then she went to talk to the male flight attendant.  he comes back and asks me what I am watching and where I got the videos from.  Odd questions.  I told him, he then tells me to hold on, comes back with a stack of DVDs, tells me he is in the business of burning DVDs and even prints out labels for the boxes like the real movie and asked me for my opinion and if I think he could get $10 for each one.  LOL.  Fucking shady skies.

clearly they didn't go far enough! they actually let you board the plane...think of how terrified that made the other passengers, you are so inconsiderate.
