Did this today after deadlifts :-X
Only had time to jump on he tredmill and do 10 minutes of interval running. I almost passed out after the last set. I've never felt so tired in my life.
Is cardio after weights counter productive?

I always do it right after I train........... as a rule anyway.

Yes, even Dorian says so. But its better to do it after training than not at all.

I've done my cardio after lifting for years. I'm 45 and in better shape then 99% of the guys out there. If you want to be very lean and muscular at the same time that's the way to go.

I've done my cardio after lifting for years. I'm 45 and in better shape then 99% of the guys out there. If you want to be very lean and muscular at the same time that's the way to go.
doesn't matter. being lean is all diet. (drugs removed)

i do 10 minutes immediately after weights. mainly to stare at the ladies. also i heard it helps prevent developing stiff arteries. so i think it's a well rounded thing.
i lift six days. on the seventh day i just come and do 30 or 45 min of cardio. again this is useless. i just need gh...

just like doing 5 reps is better than 6 for growth
and
2 reps is better 4 power no warmup
um
8 reps sets after cardio is superior for leans
oh wait if you do 5 sets of 5 before cardio thats tha best
wait do sprints but dont over train
no just do one mile of running as fast as you can and 3 sets of heavy bench yep thats it

Though there are some conflicting studies cardio performed post workout and in a fasted state in the morning are the best times for optimal fat burning. Post Workout your glycogen levels are depleted and the body has to rely on fat as an energy source. Fasted the same applies.

I do it after weights too. It would be an inconvenience for me to have to find a separate time to go to the gym just to do cardio only. And doing if before weights is just plain retarded, which I think we can all agree on
