TBR's are highly overrated. You won't develop a quality back with 5" movements and it was prob the cause that Ronnie teared a wing.

Really? I never knew that. The problem is that the use of large plates cause a small range of motion; there is no full contraction of the back possible. This is the most important mistakes when I see guys training their back. They also rely too much on momentum.

Agreed, though I always did them the Ronnie way myself - Later unfortunately had to drop them in favor of cable rows because of being pussy lower back pains :-[

Doing cable or DB rows hit the back from the same angle as TBR's and they provide you a better contraction on the top. No pussy, it's better to train safe and effective than this stupid ego movement. We all know what happen to Ron's back, let that be a warning.

I'd say spot on with those numbers. I remember competing in 1992 with 7 years training I did a 276.5 bench for a record, 440 dead and a 405 squat at a bodyweight of 162 and I was a junior

I know we've all done it at some stage but there's nothing that screams 'I have micropenis' than cheating on back movements with too much weight.

eccentric portion of the lift doesn't really build any size, mostly just strength.
