so on facebook everyone is crying about the passing of yet another crackhead who had the world by the balls and threw it all away. quite frankly i dont give a fuck, and i dont feel one bit sorry for her. for the most part because she wasnt a street addict with no hope or future, she had every opportunity to live an amazing life and threw it all away.
i feel badly for street addicts who have addictions. i couldnt imagine anything worse. but to have every opportunity at your disposal to live a life, and to have a god given talent that is a rarity many of us could only dream of and throw it in the gutter makes me border-line despise her.

White Any Use Ton
is that a suprise mr no one?
-
I too could not give a shit. I'm amazed at this gushing outpouring of pseudo grief from Hollywood et al.
In all honesty I care more about the fact that Getbig is slow as shit and keeps freezing than some multi-millionaire drug addict whose music I didn't like is dead.
-
I always hated her music. She died at a young age that's not nice but so many people do.....next please.
-
Absolutely Nuthin' wrong in it.
You didn't know her personally, she wasn't important human being for you.
That's built-in in humans; if you grieved every fukin' person passing away, you would be paralyzed all the fukin' time. No sense.
-
people want to pretend they care about this person they like to live in a dream where worshiping celebrities is like knowing them
and caring about their untimely death is the ultimate expression of this madness
"oh no...aaliyah, she was more than a woman oh no;..."
people die every day do you care no? why because you dont know them
do u know celebrities no
-
nah, dont really care either, no
-
Id rather watch sports highlights quite frank
-
I feel bad for any person who goes that way, but I can't take it when they take up all this air time for her. what the fuck man? Peeps die every fucing day, the world moves on.
-
No, There's nothing wrong with it....
-
I think it's fine not to care, I don't either. But man as I get older I see how truly evil drugs are. So glad I never had any problems with. Boy they'll eat you up, and all you can do is stay as far away from them and the people that use them as you can. Don't try to help them, or you'll get eaten up too.
-
Not wrong at all, unless you're glad she's dead. ;) We all have bills to pay etc, we should focus on our own issues, it's amazing (and shows how empty their lives are) people care so much about celebrities.
-
I didn't give a fuck, I never listened to her.
-
I didn't give a fuck, I never listened to her.
were part of generation nothingness lol...that's why. Dude it fucken sucks being a kid these days the world has gone to shit. I would kill to grow back in time in the 80's or 90's as a teenager.
-
Absolutely not, I don't give a fuck either
I'm not a fan, didn't listen to her music (was very good though, and even if I did, I still would not care)
She didn't influence my life in any way.. etc etc etc etc
Your not alone brotha!!!

I don't really care that she died and I'm not surprised. Lets put this in perspective; the woman made pop records, she didn't cure cancer.

Yeah, man, I agree. Although I do remember playing on the street with my friends when I was a kid (4 - 5), but that time is long gone now. My little sister has a fucking phone that's better than mine, and she'd prefer talking to her friends on Facebook than playing with them outside.
I would love to have been my age in the '60s, '70s or '80s, must've been cool.

I don't give a shit either probably cause I wasn't a fan of her music. When kurt cobain died I was like omg why?? lol
-
does it really bother you so much that people want to remember a person who died
-
people are inf act surprised cause someone that rich, so talented, who killed herself, it doesnt make sense in their mind. Average joe is convinced eternal bliss is directly linked to talent fame beauty and money. Their whole world collapse when they figure their "god and godesses" are as desperate as them, if not more.
Looks like it s a bit more complicated than that and it drives people desperate to figure it out, cause they understand the receipe for hapiness sold by our western societies simply doesnt work.
-
I am sad that such a talented individual died because of her own vices. I think Whitney Houston's greatest enemy was herself. People blamed Bobby Brown, but as the adage says "You can only lead a horse to water and not make it drink." He was long gone and she was substituting lortabs and valiums along with alcohol in place of cocaine. Sad story, but no different than about twenty Hollywood morons yearly.
-
its sad that a lot of these stars are not found dead in some paradise but in an awful hotel room,

I certainly can't say it's "wrong" or "bad" that you don't grieve her death. You didn't know the woman personally. Would she be all bent out of shape if she learned you died? My guess, to within 99.9999999% probability: no.
That's not to say, "Oh, tit for tat." But when some gifted performer finds themselves center stage and they slowly fuck up their lives with drug abuse or general stupidity (read: Flex Wheeler), it's pretty hard for me to feel sorry for them. You could just as easily reword that to say I honestly don't give a shit.
Does that sound harsh? Maybe, but in the big picture, it's par for the course. I fancy myself a nice guy, but I have what's called the interstate test.
When I'm driving on the interstate, it seems as most drivers around me either view me as an impediment (driving too slow), an asshole for cutting in front of them, a prick for driving too fast, etc., etc. In other words, to those other drivers, I'm a faceless guy who is an obstacle or annoyance in their day; they don't give a flying fuck about why I might be speeding, passing their slow ass through the left lane or sand-bagging it and slowing down when my radar detector picks up the Highway Patrol trolling for tickets ahead. I'm NOTHING to them.
Well, to all of these crybabies, how would Whitney have passed the Interstate test? It would have reduced her down to another target, another impediment, another faceless jerkoff they would've flipped off and shook their fist at while she careened around, high on ... whatever ::)

no reason to pity the street addicts more than whitney. if anything her wealth made her addiction that much more traumatic as she could afford to indulge. in either situation.. feeling bad someone died is a bit immature. feeling bad for the people who will have to live their life without their loved one who passed is the proper reaction. but "death is either a dreamless sleep which is plainly good or the soul goes on to live in a different world".. and we all die at some point. dont pity the dead.
-
No it's not wrong. Many people couldn't care less that a drugged out hollywood junkie OD'd.

exactly how I feel, I don't give a flying fuck about that hoe

She was smoking Cuban Cigars specially made to be laced with crack, if you saw a guy on the street doing that youd think he was a piece of shit.

Dude....couldn't say it any better. In all honesty, I am with everyone who is pissed that some politician fuck in NJ wanted to fly the flags at half mast because she died. Ummm....shes a stupid fucking junkie that used her time unwisely here on earth. Kids...money....family.. ..and you choose to use like she did.
To all those who are crying rivers over her:
0:15....
-
She's gone.
More to go.

She was doing drugs before Bobby, back in her modeling days. Who knows, this could have been a sticking point with Randall Cunningham and Herschel Walker...
As far as caring---I'm 50/50...it's not going to affect my life in the big scheme of things. This might in fact wake people up. Drugs ain't cool, doing all that blow, crack, benzos, etc, why?
If it doesn't kill you, it (the drugs) will eff you up, eff up your relationships, chance your personality, you lose money, all for what? A damn high!?

Whitney's passing is a shame, but it didn't bother me in the slightest bit.
The person that did slightly affect me by way of his passing was Michael Jackson. Being born in the late 60's, Michael Jackson was a staple part of my youth, not so much in the fact that I was a huge fan of his music, but moreso that he was always around during those early formative years. His music, in one way or another, formed part of the soundtrack of many of our lives (those of us who live in the US). He was one of the few human beings that I found to be a musical genius.
While I was not a fan of his personal life, I did admire his ability to entertain.

Everytime I walk by a TV with the news on there's a Whitney Houston tribute piece. What about all of the normal people who died that day who just had ordinary lives and actually contributed to society, working 40hrs a week doing blue collar white collar jobs. That's who I thought about when she croaked. She was given a life on a golden platter and ended it this way. I didn't even give it a second thought when I first heard it.

My first thought was, Oprah could have saved her, but there just wasn't enough money in it for her.

Uhhh, dude you saying that you didn't know who Whitney Houston is, is like saying you don't know Michael Jordan is.
Plus, no you couldn't get some random person off the street and have them sing like Whitney...hell, very few people have done a positively memorable American Anthem---one of them was Marvin Gaye...and we all know how he ended...
Whether you don't like her, you cannot underscore her talent.
No, it doesn't affect you...but what I think is this: Luther, Michael, Whitney...whose next...At Least Prince is still kicking it...
But, many of these icons are what the kids of the 80s grew up with...back when music was music...
The only thing close to Whitney now is MJB and Beyonce.

i had heard the name and could tell you she was some sort of celeberty probably an acress or music, but i couldnt tell you for sure or what songs she sang. it is very easy for me to have no idea who the hell she is. i hate that type of jazz michael jackson music, love music, r and b, rap, whatever they call it, it hurts my ears and if someone turned on whitney houston music in my car i would make them change the station because it hurts my ears. i like classic rock, so i would never in 1 million years listen to her music thats how i didn't know who she is, dont know about marvin gay is either, i know about michael jackson because he is a freak looking thing who molests kids but i dont know anything about his music, i know ive heard it and it hurts my ears also. just my taste, i dont watch ET and read people magazine, i prefer a sports illustrated. thats like if andrew luck dies, 100% of twinks in starbucks won't have any idea who he is. but to someone like me who follows college football and the NFL i 100% know who he is. and of course i dont think she is talented because i hate her music and any other RB love songs, its not my taste at all.

Not unusual at all......typical junkie behaviour........seen it in the flesh many times over.
Drugs fuck you up,then eventually kill you unless you`re one of the fortunate/lucky/determined ones who make it out intact.
