after 50 pushups I'm sore for at least 2 days, I don't remember getting muscle soreness this easy before even though I used to work out a lot more.
does anyone know how it works?
-
why did you stop @ 50??

What is this "push-up" of which you speak?

Thread of the Year

Take it easy there creampuff. I would hate to see you have a heart attack.
-

I don't know, but my muscles seem to get fatigued
last ones can be hard and I have to split them up usually with a few seconds of rest here and there
-
Does anybody who works out get sore muscles?
No. I don't anyone ever has experienced that ::)

the soreness that you are feeling it not from pushups but from your boyfriends dick.

Am I going insane or is the entire world turning into trolls?!

agreed this didnt happen back in my 20's, its so easy to make my muscles more sore now. probably something to do with being a vegetarian. i dont think a meat eater would get as sore but the trade off is they lose there hair or go grey sooner

seriously though, do you guys consistently get the same degree of soreness after workouts, even after years and years of training?
there was a period for about 3-6 months where i would get sore after every workout, in most bodyparts. slowly, i started getting less sore and in fewer places. these days i barely get sore anywhere, ever. i don't think i've had lower back, shoulders, or biceps soreness more than a handful of times in my life.
for many years i would have killed to get sore after a workout... these days i pretty much just accept it's not going to happen.

pushing up off your boyfriend 50 consecutive times in a row? Maybe better to gauge your soreness on how sore he is............

i used to too... still it didn't matter. i would do 9 sets of 15 reps on squats, to failure, then 4 sets on leg press, 4 leg extension, then stiff leg deads, and hamstring curls, all to failure. didn't make me sore at all.
do you get AS sore as you used to when you were younger, or is it significantly diminished?

same here, the heme-iron is some powerful stuff it can repair muslcles and give energy but some negative sides too
-
so you're saying meat gives amazing muscle repairing ability, but also amazing atherosclerosis? a real double edged sword?
??? ??? ???

yes what other plausable theory could there be, you left out cancer causing. also meat effects the organs in a bad way.
meat is like steroids, you are consuming oral hormones. most people on steroids have bad lipid profiles aswell. you may have good hdl but that doesnt tell the whole story.

To be honest,I would say I still get as sore as I used to most of the time.
My legs got sore just looking at that workout you posted! ;D

Well soreness isn`t an indicator of a good workout as internet parrots like to say,but to me it signifies that I hit the area I was aiming to hit when training.
I actually like getting sore.
OK,here`s one for you,my quads, hams, pecs, lats, calves, and triceps usually always get sore...delts,abs,traps,and biceps, only on occasion and I train them hard.
Anybody else have bodyparts that hardly ever get sore?

yeah, i feel the same way. that's why it's so frustrating when i can never feel soreness or a pump etc. i think it probably has something to do with my nerves / brain. oh well... maybe i'll figure it out someday.
hamstrings, chest, quads, and triceps (in that order) were the easiest for me to get sore
abs, calves, glutes, lats rarely
biceps, lower back, traps, shoulders almost never
traps would drive me FUCKING insane... no matter what i did, i could never feel them. i think i got a pump in my traps like three times in my life... probably the best days of my life :'( :'( :'(
-
i get very sore and pump. I blame this to my exquisite form, squeezing and contracting and no-ego training.

Carb up a day before training and carb up a few hours before training.........might help as far as getting a pump goes anyway......water intake helps too if it`s high and you aren`t dehydrated.

when i ate meat it was very difficult to get sore. i think meat is so strong in your body that it gives you ultra recovery hence it being TOO strong for your body thus also giving you the negative side effects like hair loss and cancer

2 weeks is crazy.........are you sure you`re not overtraining and how do you train them on your schedule if they are still sore?
I`ll do legs on Monday, they`re sore on Tuesday, then DOMS sets in and they`re even more sore on Wednesday.

I got the hair loss party going on in full effect Senior Falcone!!

I am the same, delts are pretty hard to get sore, and they are by far one of my strongest (uhh...strength wise) areas, and not in shitty form either. lol
Triceps are pretty easy to get sore.

I train them with light weights (knee problems), super slow for very high reps (+25, 15 minimum). I do 1 extension, 1 curls and about 3 pressing moves.
I usually train them every other week.
To my getting huge leg pumps and soreness is normal. I get it when ever i walk up some stairs quads get pump as hell and next day im sore in the quads and glutes.
