Shot well, but for all the "zen" crap, it's still a drugged-up dude doing the same un-specific resistance training done by bodybuilders the world over. Just random poundage done for random reps.
Stimulate in some fashion and then let the genetics, food and drugs do the rest.

so he did 315 by himself ... first set
every other set his trainer had his hand on the bar from rep 1
why not just do what you can then when a spot is needed..... a few forced reps.....
didnt kai say on another video Ill never be a weight lifter...

At the risk of sounding like a wanker , there are mad amounts of seo in kai's biceps there. He probably follows the Palumbo philosophy of applying it before training so that it stretches your fascia...

And there are many paths to Rome---some get there differently.
I don't think he enjoys taking the massive amount of drugs, especialy since after getting rid of Oscar, Farah was shocked at Kai's bloodwork.
I don't think most of the guys "enjoy" taking all that stuff, they do what they must.
As far as the lifting, if comparing Ronnie, Kev's or Shawn's training vids, the having the hand on the bar from the 1st rep is not done---of course these are guys known for their chests.
The only thing that Kai has in common is rep range (with Ronnie), Ronnie sometimes didn't push the weight all the way up to the top, therefore keeping tension on the chest, and not resting at the top.

ok, on topic, he has monster strenght considering the circumstances and those 3 quarter reps with assistance obviously work for him, because on steroids, methods like this can be useful.
when you do very heavy weights with little bit assistance from spotter while on steroids, you get a different kind of pump than what you get on squeezing out slow and proper form reps.the pump has a very special feel and i personaly think it helps a great deal to get muscle thickness.
and maybe the spotter helps just by some 10lbs or so at the start, its simply a method of increasing intensity/pushing the limit.
very few bodybuilders can do 10 full proper reps on bench with 315lbs, esp on diet.
see what was so hard about that....
and i actually agree kai is a strong presser i have seen a vid where he comfortably pressed 405 for like 8 to 10 reps

some observations of my own..i think alot permabulker types who love quoting all there big numbers like bench will always never want to try getting in shape for fear of losing strength.
im always impressed most by ones who can stay fairly lean and strong as well.
