Title: "Bikini/Fitness Models are some of the unhealthiest people"
Post by: animal1991 on August 31, 2012, 08:47:53 AM
No Bullshit Bodybuilding posted this on Facebook yesterday:
"Female fitness models are some of the most unhealthy people on the planet."
But he couldn't give a reason for it. I wondered why he said so and I asked him but he couldn't explain it.
So why did he say this? Any explanations?

The drugs and lack of well rounded diet.

Coke, diuretics, tic tacs, and shriveled penises as a total diet is probably not recommended by most doctors.

He is tired of having these broads going out on dates with him , having him pay the bill, giving him no ass, then throwing away the meal moments later in the restroom

One chick I knew dieted on coffee, jello and broccoli. I don't know what else she was taking, but that was her nutritional input for 6 weeks.

I don't know if my gf just has a slow metabolism, but she's on 1000 cals a day and still not getting fast enough fat loss? I mean we live together so I can see what she eats and she doesn't cheat or anything. I mean she's 68kg and at 1000 cal a day the weight should be flying off, but it still seems she's losing slowly. We train together and do weight training 3x a week. We also fast 2x a week for 24 hours.

Thinking of starting to incorporate running for some CV fitness.

Metabolic rates slow down if the body feels as though it is starving.  It will hold onto fat and not want to release it.  I would recommend giving away the fasting for two days and instead have a cheat day for one day per week.  This should ramp up the metabolic rate again.

We do have a cheat day on Saturdays. And metabolism doesn't slow down that much to calorie restriction. Only if weight is lost the metabolism will slow down due to less calories burnt. Otherwise dj181's metabolism would be fucked because he is on 800 cals a day sometimes

www.zoeharcombe.com/2009/12/the-minnesota-starvation-experiment/
Excerpt from article:
"3) The less you eat, the less you must continue
to eat to have any chance of losing more
weight and weight loss will stop, at some point,
whether you like it or not.
As Keys showed, the men needed 3,200 calories, on
average, to maintain their weight. As the men were
given 1,570 calories a day in the ‘starvation period’,
they lost weight and their energy need fell and
therefore the calorie level needed to fall, to maintain
the deficit.
Interestingly, Keys rejected the 3,500 formula from
the outset and relied instead on adjusting the calorie
intake every week to try to induce his desired weight
loss of 25%. Keys found he needed to limit some men
to 1,000 calories a day to try to induce further weight
loss (the men should have been losing over 5lbs per
week, at this calorie intake, having created a deficit
of almost 2,500 calories a day from their original
calorie need. In reality the body had adjusted energy
need to resist any further weight loss).
All reached a plateau around week 20 and further
weight loss could not be induced. At least one diary
recorded weight gain in the final month of the
‘starvation’ period."

Very interesting. Thank you

It is consistent with my findings after years of dieting myself or helping others lose weight.

oh dear you people are idiots, the myth of slowing down metabolism ::)

metabolism slow down occurs here about for as many as overtraining occurs.

ppl please stop repeating this knd of bs if youre clueless.

same for booty, sorry booty, stick to being a milf rather than a diet advisor.

the above quoted applies only for ppl who dont train and eat whatever they want and take no drugs.

as for the guy with 1000calorie gf and "massive" 3 workouts a week wondering why shes not loosing fat....

well, first, shes not on drugs, second, 3 workouts of a 70kg female weekly mean fuck all, and 1000calories is too much.

im very lean at 210lbs and i diet on some 1000-1500 calories and train like an ox every day.i could diet on 2000 or bit more, but i chose to diet on less, for for faster results.

she has very little maucle on her frame, muscle determine how fast your metabolism is.

now you do the math.

or maybe she cheats secretly.but i think 1000 calories is too much to see dramatic results quickly.

You know what, I have competed and got my bodyfat levels right down so I know how the body especially the female body holds onto bodyfat and slows its metabolic rate down.  I am a natty too. You don't need drugs, but you do need determination and to listen to your body.  I was on a 3 day rotational split diet to keep my body guessing but I still had plateues.

diet goes like this:

drugs, little food, loads training and moving around.

there will be no plateaus.

my opinion is that naturals should stick to other, more rewarding hobbies, like fishing :D

I was moving, doing up to 2 hours of brisk walking per day and weights 4 times per week.  But still my body had plateues cause it didn't really want to get as lean as what I wanted it to be.  It's just a survival thing built into us, especially women.  We are designed to have some bodyfat for child rearing.

The question is how little food without drugs

Your girl has to go by the mirror and how she is feeling and how much she is dropping bodyfat.  At the beginning of a diet, the body will drop fat easier but as time goes on it slows down.  She needs to increase cardio when this happens and play around with her food days trying to keep the body guessing so that it keeps giving the fat up.  There will be plateaues but if she can be consistant and keep listening to her body she will keep dropping bodyfat.

Fat of course.

Diet + Weight Training = Muscle Retention and Fat Loss
Diet + No Exercise = Muscle and Fat Loss (Weight in other words)

What's the difference Devon? You can turn fat into muscle by training anyway, so why would it matter what kind of weight she's losing? The only weight can't put back on in bones, you have to take serious amount of creatine to create bones
