"Bikini/Fitness Models are some of the unhealthiest people"
« on: August 31, 2012, 08:47:53 AM »
No Bullshit Bodybuilding posted this on Facebook yesterday:
"Female fitness models are some of the most unhealthy people on the planet."
But he couldn't give a reason for it. I wondered why he said so and I asked him but he couldn't explain it.
So why did he say this? Any explanations?

Coke, diuretics, tic tacs, and shriveled penises as a total diet is probably not recommended by most doctors.

He is tired of having these broads going out on dates with him , having him pay the bill, giving him no ass, then throwing away the meal moments later in the restroom

One chick I knew dieted on coffee, jello and broccoli. I don't know what else she was taking, but that was her nutritional input for 6 weeks.

Did she look good at the end of her starvation?

I don't know if my gf just has a slow metabolism, but she's on 1000 cals a day and still not getting fast enough fat loss? I mean we live together so I can see what she eats and she doesn't cheat or anything. I mean she's 68kg and at 1000 cal a day the weight should be flying off, but it still seems she's losing slowly. We train together and do weight training 3x a week. We also fast 2x a week for 24 hours.

Thinking of starting to incorporate running for some CV fitness.

Metabolic rates slow down if the body feels as though it is starving.  It will hold onto fat and not want to release it.  I would recommend giving away the fasting for two days and instead have a cheat day for one day per week.  This should ramp up the metabolic rate again.

We do have a cheat day on Saturdays. And metabolism doesn't slow down that much to calorie restriction. Only if weight is lost the metabolism will slow down due to less calories burnt. Otherwise dj181's metabolism would be fucked because he is on 800 cals a day sometimes

www.zoeharcombe.com/2009/12/the-minnesota-starvation-experiment/
Excerpt from article:
"3) The less you eat, the less you must continue
to eat to have any chance of losing more
weight and weight loss will stop, at some point,
whether you like it or not.
As Keys showed, the men needed 3,200 calories, on
average, to maintain their weight. As the men were
given 1,570 calories a day in the ‘starvation period’,
they lost weight and their energy need fell and
therefore the calorie level needed to fall, to maintain
the deficit.
Interestingly, Keys rejected the 3,500 formula from
the outset and relied instead on adjusting the calorie
intake every week to try to induce his desired weight
loss of 25%. Keys found he needed to limit some men
to 1,000 calories a day to try to induce further weight
loss (the men should have been losing over 5lbs per
week, at this calorie intake, having created a deficit
of almost 2,500 calories a day from their original
calorie need. In reality the body had adjusted energy
need to resist any further weight loss).
All reached a plateau around week 20 and further
weight loss could not be induced. At least one diary
recorded weight gain in the final month of the
‘starvation’ period."

Very interesting. Thank you

It is consistent with my findings after years of dieting myself or helping others lose weight.

Do your clients find it easier to diet in Romania because there's less food, and the pizza looks like skin grafts?
