that pic doesnt show it but i was pretty chizzeld on some older vhs vids i have of me in those days in the abs but damn i wouldnt eat nothing but low carb or protien shit, and if i did binge on sweets id have to workout so much the less day , just not worth it

BTW, I had an egg salad sandwich on whole wheat for lunch today. It was quite delicious and so far no smelly farts. Guess that makes me a bit of a douchebag, huh?

my guess is that you can't succeed in the dieting is because you still eat too many calories
i'm about 7-8% right now, and i do ZERO aerobic training
not to be too arrogant, but i'm a pretty tough SOB, and i can handle the pain of starving
in my teen years i was a pretty damn good middle and long distance runner, and that kinda running takes some heart, coz it sure as hell is painful when you're pushing it hard for miles
so i firmly believe this running trained me to be a tough SOB when it comes to physical pain, but just don't ask me about my ability to handle relationship/emotional pain ;)

good point man, but i'm wondering how much cardio benefit one gets from only resistance training?
i rest a long time btw sets, but when i do my work/failure sets it's an all-out affair, and it's akin to 60-100 yard sprints i'd say, especially when i do some "extended set" work

Starving yourself and water fasting teaches discipline. Not every realm is full endless amounts of food. It's good to re-teach the soul what it feels like to go without for extended periods of time. That way when you end up in a realm that doesn't use endless amounts of energy, it will be that much more easier to deal with because you've done it before.

You are right, I am not willing to starve in order to look a little better. Life is too short to give up its little pleasures. However, I suspect that a combination of reduced calories and increased exercise might get me where I want to be. I have been a lazy ass all summer. Besides that, I sometimes snack on chips late at night. I only want to lose about 10 or 15 lbs.
There will be no skinny jeans for me. They look stupid enough on young men; they'd look completely ridiculous on someone my age, regardless of how slim I was. I'll stick with Lucky brand jeans, but in a smaller size when that size is loose in the waist. I cannot tolerate anything tight around my waist. I'd be really happy to fit in a pair of 32" jeans again. At present, 34's just fit and 36's are sloppy.
I am probably at a 14 to 16% fat ratio right now. I'd be happy with 10 to 12%. The memory of me as a painfully skinny kid still haunts me. Whenever I lose weight, that memory comes to the forefront and scares the crap out of me. It is probably a similar feeling to the fat person who was always fat and never gets over seeing themselves as such, even when they lose the weight.
I have little experience as an adult with serious relationship pain. I left that behind with my childhood. Fortunately, my wife and I get on very well....even after almost 48 years together. Our children have never been any trouble for us. I've lost friends and family over the years which always sad, but it is also inevitable.

i don't eat 800 cals every single day, i mainly do that 2 or 3 times a week, other days i eat more normal, around 2000 cals per day i'd guess
my leg strength has went up quite alot over the past 2 months and of course my wheels are bigger now, so now i'm shifting focus back onto my suckass bis and delts
my whole "thing" is prefect proprtion, and i'm looking for all bodyparts to match and flow together very nicely, except for my calves, coz i really just don't give a flying fuck about them :D :D :D
also, i'm not into the size game, i'm thinking that ideal for me and my tiny frame (6 inch wrists) is 5'11" @ 175-180 @ 6%

on low cals youll be straining to bust one nut on a hoe
dont even try busting a nut after a hard workout on low calories , not gonna happen youll be limp because the body will be in defense mode/ saving energy mode
if you keep restricting calories your body will turn on you and wish to go in hybernation mode because you arent giving it any resources to live off on
if youve sweated alot on low calories you wont have enough blood sugars to fill up your wang for fucking, sure you might still be able to just master bate but not do physical fucking cause therese no glucose

my best bench was 225 for a triple pause @ 155 pounds
my best dead was only 275 for a single, and my best squat was 185 for 10 reps lol
in fact, when one of my trainers trained me he used to have a fitness girl train with me, just to humilate me and i guess motivate me to get stronger, as she was able to out squat and dead me, and she weighed all of a buck 15 or so LOL!

Those are some tiny wrists. Mine are 9". I am also 5'11" @ 201 lbs. today. If I got down to 175-180 lbs. I could also be at a much lower bodyfat ratio, but probably not as low as you are. I am not sure that is healthy though for the average person. From what I can figure out, 15% is about right for a man who is fit. There was a time when I was a little taller than I am now and weighed 126 lbs. Needless to say, I was literally skin and bones.

I wonder if it makes a difference in energy usage that, since the prostatectomy, I no longer ejaculate, when I orgasm because the seminal vessel was removed along with the prostate. It doesn't affect libido.

when i was running track and cross country back in high school i weighed roughly 130-135 @ 5'11"
when i got my VO2 max tested at The Ohio State Univeristy at 23 years of age i weighed roughly 140 and my VO2 max measured out @ 71 ml/kg/min which is at the elite level 8)
now i'd say that it's maybe 35-40 ml/kg/min lol
