LOL

LOL.... you guys can't think "straight"... when you hear HIV....
I honestly don't know how it really affects your life style once you get the news you're HIV positive ,I know is the worst news/nightmare and there's no cure found yet ...but by today standars you can get away with it, by taking few pills daily ..... (again I really dont know much about it)
So what's worse to live with? HIV or diabetes??
HIV is contagious and Diabetes not....
But what are the things you can't do once you got diabetes? Basically you can't eat what you want no more, you need to inject insulin daily, taking glucose pills can make it even worse on the long run)
A ton of alcoholic beverages you can't touch no more......
As you get older, you might have to take insulin shots three times a day! Ouchhhh
In most cases,Every time a diabetic takes a shot they have to eat something in order not to go into diabetic shock. Even if you are not hungry you still have to eat something before or after you take your shot.
With diabetes, you are very sensitive to bruising...even something simple like bumping an arm with anything around the house, arm gets bruised very deeply and stays there for about a week or two. Diabetics are very proned to bruising very easily. They have to be careful and watch what they do all the time...
Is like being prisoner of your own skin/body
One side effect is, you have sugar spells to where you have to eat something sweet right away if your sugar level gets too low...or call someone to run to the store to get youy a sniker or Milkyway.
Bad circulation can happen with diabetes...This means purple and black feet..
It hurts if you have to stand up for long period of times so those outdoors festival? well....kiss them goodbye.
Men with diabetes often have erectile dysfunction which can begin before the diagnosis of diabetes is made.
Depending of stage of Diabetes it can lead to Heart disease, stroke, can become BLIND! and the list goes on .....
What about HIV?

What about HIV?
Hi Mr. HIV positive gay man!
-
Would anybody truly rather have HIV over diabetes? Seriously? ::)
The side effects in the long run for HIV are way worse than diabetes but yet you are failing to mention this.
But again what do you expect from someone who think Colette Nelsons boobs are well done.
-
This guy might want to switch to diabetes ::)
With HIV, you either have to lie to people and slowly die (yet, this could take a while), if you want to have sex, you will most probably have to lie and risk transmitting your disease to someone innocent etc.
If you're honest about everything, you will be isolated socially. All your friends may say otherwise, but those invitations to parties and other functions are guaranteed to stop - sooner or later.
-
If you get on meds early enough you can live with hiv. It's when it turns to aids that it becomes deadly. However living with the stigma of having hiv and getting socially outcasted would be devastating.
-
HIV or diabetes? Do you seriously need to ask this? Who would choose HIV over diabetes?
-
Let me guess you caught hiv from guys going bareback on your asshole and diabetes from injecting insulin.
LMAO! Funniest thing I've read on getbig in a while!

I don't think anybody would choose either. They both sound horrid.

I would say being short (like under 5'-9"), being bald, and then being skinny.
This is GB afterall....

I don't think I am able to get past those grim reaper ads on tv when hiv first got discovered. It made an impact on me for sure. Maybe that's the problem. The media put the fear into people and now there is a stigma attached to living with hiv. I don't think I could live with diabetes though. It sounds like a nightmare and I have a fear of needles so I wouldn't like the constant injecting. I like nice hands and feet and wouldn't want purple puffed ugly feet and hands. Then there's all the other crap like possibly going blind, losing limbs. It sounds scarey to be honest.

The purple hands and purple feet of a diabetic will suit you.
Glad it's not contagious, other GB members could be stricken with this malady.
;D

Explanation for clueless fuckwits like yourself - that stuff could only happen with poor control - you look after your condition and stay in fine health you will be fine, the only issues are going low in sugars.
Comparing HIV to diabetes ffs typical a moronic fuckwit like you would prefer HIV - HIV is a death sentance that you can transmit to others - what a fucking retard ::)
I'm still waiting for the proof of your accusations you made in the kigs thread

HIV or diabetes??
