LOL.... you guys can't think "straight"... when you hear HIV....
I honestly don't know how it really affects your life style once you get the news you're HIV positive ,I know is the worst news/nightmare and there's no cure found yet ...but by today standars you can get away with it, by taking few pills daily ..... (again I really dont know much about it)
So what's worse to live with? HIV or diabetes??
HIV is contagious and Diabetes not....
But what are the things you can't do once you got diabetes? Basically you can't eat what you want no more, you need to inject insulin daily, taking glucose pills can make it even worse on the long run)
A ton of alcoholic beverages you can't touch no more......
As you get older, you might have to take insulin shots three times a day! Ouchhhh
In most cases,Every time a diabetic takes a shot they have to eat something in order not to go into diabetic shock. Even if you are not hungry you still have to eat something before or after you take your shot.
With diabetes, you are very sensitive to bruising...even something simple like bumping an arm with anything around the house, arm gets bruised very deeply and stays there for about a week or two. Diabetics are very proned to bruising very easily. They have to be careful and watch what they do all the time...
Is like being prisoner of your own skin/body
One side effect is, you have sugar spells to where you have to eat something sweet right away if your sugar level gets too low...or call someone to run to the store to get youy a sniker or Milkyway.
Bad circulation can happen with diabetes...This means purple and black feet..
It hurts if you have to stand up for long period of times so those outdoors festival? well....kiss them goodbye.
Men with diabetes often have erectile dysfunction which can begin before the diagnosis of diabetes is made.
Depending of stage of Diabetes it can lead to Heart disease, stroke, can become BLIND! and the list goes on .....
What about HIV?
