Seems like a lot of people like to drink straight liquor because it projects a certain image. What is the sense of taking a few sips of stuff that taste like garbage?

For me, I drink to quench my thirst, and while I like stuff that taste good, liquor is just so far removed from tasting good or quenching your thirst. Can't you just drink something else that taste good? Why liquor? Am I making sense? lol

I guess it depends what type you drink. Obviously higher end stuff may taste a lot better! I just never been a big fan of alcohol. And its not because I stick to a strict diet or anything. I just dont like the taste of it.

I always found it incredible when I see young guys take a quality liquor and mix it. If you are going to mix anything use the cheapest crap you can find. Quality liquor should be straight up for the most part. Certain real mixed drinks can benefit from quality liquor but if you are using soda pop or a corn syrup mix save your money.
