Because being short us one of the reasons they bodybuild, to compensate for their shortness. Most pros are the size of your average junior high school kid.

Up until drug use became rampant bodybuilding was a short guys sport, one of the few where height can be a disadvantage. Once you're over 5'9" very tough to build the kind of thickness a shorter guy has unless you've have great genetics.
With a lot of drug use a 5'10'-5'11' guy can have the same extreme thickness as a 5'6"er with short limbs and torso.
* All things being equal though, a taller guy wins out. The consecutive Olympians with the most Sandows were between 5'10 and 6'0", Arnold being the tallest.

I was in Vegas last year and I think the NPC nationals were going on, and I stood next to a guy in the elevator, and he looked like a child in person. They don't look as out of place in pictures because everyone is short, like actors, but I'm 6'4, and this dude was at least a foot shorter than me. I hope my children are tall as or taller than me.

At 5'6" I joined GB so I can be around the tall Gods of the world. Beautiful, 6'0" tall men with chiseled body and epic good looks only come to GB. I thought this would boost my confidence. And I must say, I now feel like a giant among men.

Bodybuilding is a short man sport. 5'11-5'4 is good bodybuilding height, only a handful who dont fit in this block.

I haven't been 5'4" since 6th grade. In 7th grade, I had a beard and was 6'0 fall. Everyone thought I was in a junior in high school. Guess the test kicked in soon and made me a man ASAP.

Lol why the fuck u want your kids to be taller than 6'4?? Unless he's a football or basketball player there's a point where it's just too tall and it sucks. Perfect height for males is between 6- 6'2
