I`ve done them and found running 5 miles much more difficult.

If you jump up hard at the end it really becomes an explosive exercise. I never understood guys that just stood up.

it ain't a burpee unless you jump. the way i do them is i try to hit the ceiling at the gym instead of just hopping up 6-7 inches. i also try to make them a fluid motion instead of a series of distinct parts.
even worse is the burpee chinup. or my one friend suggested burpee clean and presses. THAT was fun.

how long does it take you to run 5mi? 35-40 minutes? guarantee if you tried to do burpees nonstop for a half hour you'd shit out your heart a quarter of the way in. my record for going without a break is about thirty and that was a horrific little battle.

are you trying to tekk us that you can do 225 for 100 reps? or are you just going to attempt it?

it's 100 reps total for time, not 100 reps without re-racking the bar. i've done it before, it's pretty effing terrible but a fun way to challenge yourself if you don't plan on walking for a day or two after.
