and just kick back
work some odd jobs left and right
and actually have more money in the end of the month
-
Yes, in the UK you dont even need to do the odd job part, unless you count having loads of kids as a profession. As long as you have enough kids you can be unemployed and earn more than a mid-senior level manager in decent corporation.
-
why work get a credit card rack up the charges n never pay it back stick it to those jewish bankers ne way you can.

Fuck no , enjoy your poverty lifestyle if that's your plan.. Although I recently got four months severance which let me enjoy a few weeks sleeping all day until I found a new job...and I'm currently getting two paychecks so no, i dont envy the terminally unemployed scraping through life.

i'm talking about people like you actually
those few weeks were probably like 12 weeks
-
6 , and severance on a six figure salary + healthcare is a little different from unemployment. I wouldn't even make rent on unemployment here since things are so expensive, but if you live in a trailer park in Iowa it might work
-
Universal law: if something cannot go on forever, it won't. When the EBT cards flash to zero, I would advise all to not be within 100 miles of an inner city.

Nobody is talking about poverty lifestyle, unless you consider £50,000 a year allowance, free council house, 8 seater chrysler with seat back TV's (for entertaining the poor kids) poverty.
even better if you can play the asylum, unemployed muslim and ethnic minority card all at the same time, then you can win the social care lottery and end up like this guy.

But most chavvy scum barely scrape by on benefits, living in vile and dangerous old council housing. The refugees should never be allowed in much less given free money but those are not the typical benefit scrounger in the uk. Then again I've not been back to the uk since i got my us visa so maybe its worse now?

Our asylum seeker in the US become bombers after they receive 100k in benefits. ???

working is really tedious
maybe just peddle protein powders instead

Your credit will get destroyed and you eventually won't be able to buy a car or a house. I have a feeling you know that already. The credit card companies don't care if you don't pay. That's what crazy high revolving interest rates are for. To make sure they make money. It's the same old current story in America. The workers who pay their bills and taxes take care of the slackers.
Enjoy unemployment, obama cell phones, food stamps, welfare, disability social security and housing assistance. I have to go to work.
-
LOL
It's not funny. This dumbshit is serious.
-
It grinds my gears...
Unfortunately, If I do something that grinds their gears, I have to pay for it...
-
No
-
Tax should be a lot lower for the average worker.
Less benefits and then you can work less and earn more without losing a third to the government.

I wanted to come in and talk shit in this thread.. but I won't.
The only good thing about having menial, low-paying jobs is less mental job stress.
-
Yes! Would love to sit on unemployment for a year.

Just declare yourself legally bankrupt & live without credit cards for the next 5 years ;D ;D ;D

I live with a guy who was successfully unemployed for around 7 years, got in an arts degree and has been successfully a "student" of miscellaneous subjects (none of which raise his income potential) for 3 years, now.
Do I envy him? Slightly, as I am about to depart for work this morning - but the dude is going nowhere in life and will go nowhere. It must be a source of frustration for him.

How is being unemployed like that successful? The only thing he was succesful at is stealing our money with the government being the accomplice.
-
I make $45 an hour to have my hands on semi naked/naked (on occasion) women, so no, I don't envy those on unemployment. Not at all.
-
If I could get away with I would have a patch of jungle in South America somewhere and smuggle cocaine.

and if they are young, there might be an unemployed dude hitting that. And then smoking weed afterwards. And has all the latest electronic gadgets, latest re-issued Nikes.
-
Working gives you a sense of accomplishment, and purpose in life, but that quickly can turn sour when your effort is not reflected in wages.
Would i rather do labour work for $10.25/hr, or collect unemployment, watch youtube vids, movies, read, workout, and hangout with bitches?
I think the answer is obvious.
-
Nobody wants to live in poverty...There are not enough real jobs in the world to go around for every single human on earth...Most people in poverty are mental ill one way or another or the country(society) they live in his mentally ill...

True, but I get paid to feel his girl up. I win.

I like the idea of the work week going from 40 to 32 hours to lower the unemployment rate.

I suggest you look up successful in the dictionary.
He means to be unemployed.
He is.
He has achieved and maintained his goal for a great deal of time.
Success in his eyes.

Make sure you don't get married to him then, could always give him a few elbows to the face when he rolls over on to your ripped pillows.

Then you have the wrong avatar, sir. If you turned it down, maybe.

People who are happy being unemployed suck.
Live on pennies
Cant afford to own and run a car
no woman repect or desire them
never own their own house and have to live in shitty council houses or little bedsits like method101
have to sit with some little homo at the jobcentre as they tell them what pathetic humiliating low paid jobs to apply for.

yes but
most people who work need a car to go to work, they wear it out and spend a fortune on fuel just to go to work

That's why I prefer living in a big city with a good underground/metro network.
So convenient to travel and much less stress and expenses.
-
I have the best of both worlds.
Work as much as an unemployed person but earn a quite comfortable living.

not in the slightest. was on unemployment for a few months, hated every day of it. gotta stretch the budget thin, you feel like a piece of shit and don't want to hang out with your employed friends, the days all start to blend together into one big depressing mass, you feel guilty as fuck spending money on anything fun because you know you didn't earn it.
that's just me, anyway. i'm way happier working.
