He had rolls of skin on his lower back when he was young. Who knows what his back looks like now? Kai and Phil passed him many moons ago. He wins the O in a straight out robbery. That's the only way. And no way in hell, he beats those two with a quad flex, which he beat Dex with. ::)

Jay, Phil and Ramy is who I'm cheering for. Phil's attitude might get better and I'll have more respect, his ego needs to be gentled down by his own merit not criticism of others, he should learn from Jay's attitude.

True. I think it's a forgone conclusion that he won't beat Phil or Kai. The real question is will they allow Ramy to beat him. Ramy is better than Jay at this point from top to bottom. The only thing Jay has better is calves.

I have spent time with him on a number of occasions which means roughly jack shit as it applies to this conversation. For the record I am not saying Jay is gonna win, simply put he has surprised people over the years and the other front runners will certainly make it a tough decision this year for the Mr. O. Usually I don't really care who wins the O but with Big Rami, Kai, Phil and Jay it looks like the show will be at least moderately interesting for the first time in years.

it's about the best representative of the sport. Look it up. It was designed for the past Mr Universe's, etc, to compete and was meant to showcase the sport and top athletes.
Look at the dynasties... look at the years of brutal robbery. The definition of the show is who best represents the sport. It doesn't matter that Kai will be bigger, thicker, better everything... Kai would beat Phil and Jay at the Arnold... which is why they don't enter that show. The Olympia is about who best repersents the sport. Period.
So yes, Kai is going to look better at the O, every grownup knows that. But we also know that Jay is doing more "for the sport" than Kai, is a "better representative", and thus will place higher. And Phil, the safe champ and really a great face and attitude and behavior, he will win once again - even if he comes in 10% down and is beaten by Kai in terms of physique - Phil will win it again. Because that's what that contest is about.

Not the best body onstage that day. It's the best physique + best body of work for the past/upcoming year for the overall good of the sport.
