Better and free of charge health care..movie "Sicko" by Michael Moore just about covers the differences.

Excellent point. Forgot about the universal healthcare.

I've traveled a lot through Europe over the years. The first thing I noticed about European women is that they have a lot of small moles on their body compared to North American women. Especially the low Countries from France, eastward. The Czech Republic for example. Been there 4 times. It has some of the most beautiful women in the world in my opinion, but a lot of them just have a lot of tiny moles on their torso and arms and neck. It's the first thing I always notice about European women compared to woman here in North America. They also don't care much about having shiny white teeth. So, it's pretty common to see a smoking hot girl with yellowish teeth. When it comes to an abundance of tall, long legged pretty girls with beautiful eyes and long soft hair, Czech Republic has it. And they're fairly intelligent too. Germany, Switzerland, Poland, Ukraine, also has very attractive young women who put a lot into their outward appearance. You can often get fooled when you see this stunning woman with a tiny wasp waist and the most beautiful set of tits you've ever seen, and you're thinking she's probably about 25. But you find out she's only about 16 or 17. They develop a healthy set of tits at a young age there, so be careful. You can be deceived. And the beer? The beer in Europe, especially in the Czech Republic and Germany is out of this world once your taste buds get accustomed to it. When you come back to North America and drink a Budweiser, Miller or Coors, etc, you feel like you've drank piss.

Why? Better Diet?
i disagree i'm french.
I live near Paris and it's easy to see american tourist in Paris. They're taller, bigger and more solid than the average french citizen.
But american tourist are generally poorly dressed, with old washed up t shirt and old cap.
During my 3 week trip in usa two years ago (l.a - sf - vegas) i noticed that too, american are bigger/taller than european, except deutch.

yep, beer in usa is like piss. And what's the deal with light beer, what it's supposed to be ? a beer or a non alcoolised urine ?

The Dutch (Netherlands) are the biggest people of Europe with a male average height of 6.1, look at there top kickboxers like Peter Aerts, Badr Hari, Semmy Shilt and Alistair Overeem al very tall.

The Dutch are the tallest Euros, with Danes, Norwegians, Swedes and Germans coming up second.

....& how they do in basketball ;D ;D ;D
-
;D There terrible in basketball and the reason is its not a popular sport like soccer in the EU.

Hard to focus on moles here
Bigger calves than the entire Mr. O line up.

Now how the fuck is this possible and who is the one who laid validity to this claim? To even accept this view as valid because it's quotable is absolutely retarded. So we're saying as a whole the society is better looking? Okay. So what does this mean for the individual if he or she looks like shit themselves (which is probably the reality for the retard that would post such an article.) To be good looking is to have traits that are desirable to another being. Looking good is not all physical. The judging of a persons looks are done in the mind and as such can be manipulated by anothers. We most powerfully impose our state of attraction by physicality, but with that judging of physicality comes the judging of an individuals abstract characteristics such as fame and wealth.
From here we see that a peson may be judged by two things. Physical stature and how another judges you on your abstract qualities.
The thing about physical stature is that it is very finite. We have greats abs and thighs which are attainable by anyone (basically.) But you move to abstract qualities and it's just that. Abstract. Not physical in nature, apart from reality. This means that the qualities are limitless (not just limitless in terms of greater, but also worse. I'm looking at you, negative fucks.) Think the greatness and extreme charisma of Arnold. What lower beings fail to understand is that beauty is somthign to be judged and the entire picture is not the physical body.
When we have the physical body maxed out in terms of what we can achieve in accord with whats possible, we reach true greatness. This is the extent of our physical beauty.
There is no maxing out abstract beauty as it's subjective by nature. This is why it's important to work on the being you are so much, because it's potential is limitless. To question if the USA or Europe is better is the question of a fucking RETARD.

Britons the Ugliest Europeans, claims Study

It's very difficult to measure something like this, saying Euros in General look "better", since there are so many different Euros (with different looks) and many other factors.

;D There terrible in basketball and the reason is its not a popular sport like soccer in the EU.
just too short for basketball ;)
on the last Euro , the Oranjes were so bad ;D,

Americans are riddled with GMO's and Fluoride and prescription drugs and a ton of other bad shit. Europeans are relatively free of all that crap atm TOUCH WOOD.
-
If I remember in the book The Scarlet Letter, the women were jealous of the the protagonist in the story because she was of foreign birth (English) and had good features.
-
I agree about Born and bred white British women being among the ugliest in europe,
however come to London and you'll see more variety of races/colours/nationalities than any other city on the planet.
There is something for everybody whether you want the typical english rose (think keira knightley), a Persian princess or a curvy Brazillian, they're all here and in large quantities
-
Excellent point. Forgot about the universal healthcare.
Right about the diet, because in europe we have clean and good quality food, and even our "junk food" is food, not crap molded to look like it. Not genetically modified food at all, low fat etc. and smaller portions. Lot of the health care is preventive, most have annual healt checks by their work, and they get quiding, therapy etc. if needed. When people are healthy, they look good. You don't think these things until something point them out: I am semi-big guy, 5'9" and 110kg/220lb, but when I was in the local store and two meduim size americans walk in, I look like midget. Those fuckers were at least 6'4" and weight 360lb each. It is rare to see how the floor bends under the walking man ;D

I visited Oxford Street / Carnaby Street once and all i saw was curry-munchers!
Where are the real Brits at!

when americans look after themselves they are amazing, white teeth, great skin, i despise brazilian girls, they are filthy, even the good looking ones smell like the local mechanic.

When you come back to North America and drink a Budweiser, Miller or Coors, etc, you feel like you've drank piss.
Of course listing the cheapest shit beers brewed here is going to pale by comparison. There's great beer in Europe, sure, but there's fantastic breweries the US too. To make all encompassing statements is just useless.
-
Myth. Plenty of ugly as fuck European women - many have facial hair - and hot Yank bitches.
Anyway, plenty of American women have the same , supposedly beautiful, European ancestry.
-
one generation of mcdonald and the genetics are in the trash bin
It's everywhere. Any main street in Europe has a McD's. Even ching-chong Chinamen are gorging on it these days. I understand the point though.

Not gonna lie, went to Italy and Germany, and the only fast food joint I saw was a McDonald's in Rome. It's different lifestyle there. Small food portions, lots of smokers, and everybody walks. We(Americans) are as a group lazy with taking care of ourselves. Probably because we work ourselves to death.
-
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Weird. Germany has the 4th most Mcd's in the world.

Pretty american women are better then pretty european women, im talking physically.
-
this question couldn't be easier
english are the ugliest, and they made up the largest proportion of our ancestors, case closed
-
Toronto had the highest average appearance of women I've ever seen. No 10's, but 7-8's as far as the eye could see. LA had tons of hot chicks but they were snooty. The people were unbearable too.
I've been through Europe, and id say it's on par w America except: 1) girls aren't fat 2) they dress better. Plenty of uggos on both continents though.
-

Those beers (bud, miller, coors) are probably in the top 6 of all beer brands sold in the US, so it's certainly relevant, idiot.

yeah, that blonde hair twink-ish dude... I don't know how old he is, but Viviane was born in 1975, so maybe he was thinking that she was getting too old? Who knows...Viviane is more softer, whereas Gracyanne has a harder/leaner look to her.

As mentioned earlier, it's idiotic to make a general statement about a heterogenous country of 300 million. There are some areas in the U.S where the women are unbelievably beautiful, and many areas that resemble the monkey house of a zoo.
What makes the U.S superior to Europe is that there still is a tiny sliver of entrepreneurial spirit left, here; whereas Europe has been rotted to the core by the disease of Socialism.
Any Eurotwinks, here, want to contest what I just said, feel free to point me to the NEW, innovative European companies that compare to Amazon, Apple, or Google.

Slave Factories. Hahaha.
Chinese are willing to fork over months of salary just to get a job at one these "Slave Factories." Why? Because they pay better, and have better working conditions that any of the local businesses.
This European entitlement mentality is why you have 60% youth unemployment in Spain.

Yeah, us lazy westerners just don't appreciate the virtues of life in a suicide sweat shop.

Do you think you have a difficult job? Try working for Foxconn in an Apple iPad/iPhone factory in China. As reported by The Daily Mail, in addition to working nearly 100 hours of overtime in a month, standing on their feet for 12 hours at a time, and not being allowed to say a word while working, employees are now also forced to sign “anti-suicide” contracts. This was in response to a large number of deaths the previous year.

Just in case they try to break the contract...

Wow!
100 hours of overtime a month. That works out to about 65 hours a week, which is what typical American small business owner puts in. Do you think Donald Trump works a 40 hour week? Long hours are what you put in if want to get ahead in life, but, if you want to waste away your days in a coffee shop, talking about how bored you are, have at it.

But on getbig for some reason everyone is 6'2 and up easily ::)

It seems its only Americans who go for the unnatural white colour for their teeth.
Teeth are not naturally brilliant white.
A polish at the dentist is good enough to restore the natural colour.
-
Southside better looking than Europeans better looking than Americant. I think it has more to do with recombinations than diet.
Of course the sniveling white wimp who wants everyone to think he is a latino/n!99er/mudperson enters the discussion with more meaningless stupidity.

Not necessarily..sometimes the teeth a thorough cleaning, and they need to be kept clean. Also, if you have retainers, braces, etc, they can hold plaque, the plaque needs to be cleaned as well. And chipped teeth.
Here is a Pinky and Brain episode about a hypnotic smile

I notice a couple of things between Europe and the US. One is that everyone walks every where in Europe. Nobody walks anywhere in the US except maybe Manhattan. Another is our crazy amount of food in the US. Most people in Europe go into little stores to buy produce and food. In the US there are super markets everywhere that you can fill up a cart with a ton of crap. Most houses in the US could live weeks without getting food. In Europe it seems many house holds buy food for dinner the same day.
Concerning men the biggest sport here is NFL football. I can't count how many times I have seen a fat slob perma bulker watching football say he's the same height and weight as a football player. The average fatso here thinks he's fine being fat because of football. A typical American workout in the gym is benching, pull downs and curls then walking on a treadmill slower than he walked to his car when he leaves the gym.
There are lot of hot women in the US. There are also so many so many fat people.
-
Yeah, you're right. These companies should just pull out of China and the people there can go back to starving to death.
No, they could keep the jobs in the US, or offer a fairer wage and better working conditions to the Chinese, and still make a huge profit.
-
There should be a tariff on all imported products from China. We can't compete with their slave wages over there. Then we would start producing our own crap and the economy would improve. One factory employs workers, truckers, security, secretaries, accountants, janitors, and others. I know most would rather collect a government check if they can't have a corner office job with a secretary. The US use to produce and now it just imports and that is why this country is falling apart.
-
What makes the U.S superior to Europe is that there still is a tiny sliver of entrepreneurial spirit left, here; whereas Europe has been rotted to the core by the disease of Socialism.
The European Union is the largest economy on earth, many of its countries have more economic mobility than the United States, 7 of the 10 most innovative economies are European (if [1] is to be believed), very similar levels of productivity exist ([2]), life expectancy and health outcomes are significantly better, there is a culture of leisure and pleasure rather than mere work till death, and its current economic woes are mostly attributable to the adoption of the Euro, not imaginary ideological "diseases".
Conversely, the United States is chalk full of jobs with minimal pay, no benefits, long hours, and no vacation -- Walmart's the largest employer -- a suicide-inducing office culture, people who die sooner, an over 10% higher debt-to-GDP ratio, and a government that is ironically more socialist than most of Europe in important respects (e.g., federal government paying for mortgages).
Both have significant problems, but your "dem dere socialists be destroyin Europe and wez be dah best cuz my TV said so" narrative is funny.

sweden is where its at

Americans tend to be lazy and excessive. The food portions in many restaurants are over the top and cheap compared to other countries. People would rather drive then walk. Gas is fairly cheap in the US compared to other countries. Cars are cheap as well. A man of 6 ft, 180 lbs in good shape is seen as a twink in the states. The US isn't about health. It is about money, possessions, sex, drugs and rock and roll. In the US there is a sense of entitlement. People want something for nothing, and feel they deserve it.

The European Union has 500 million people; the U.S 300 million. So, your argument doesn't really mean much. Per capita stats are what you want to look at. The U.S GDP per Capita is 48k a year; the EU 32k, not even close. U.S unemployment 7.4%; the EU 10.9. Again, not even close.
Also, picking some 5 million pop. homogeneous country, with no military, and comparing it to the U.S is just grasping at straws. It's like comparing a Mom and Pop to Walmart, and concluding that the former is a better business than the latter because it has a higher profit margin.
You might not like the jobs or the culture of the U.S, but from an ecomonic standpoint, the U.S owns Europe, and it's not likely to change anytime, soon. In fact, anyone in Europe with money is looking to get it out of there. That's why Manhattan Real Estate is going through the roof.

Long-term I think Europe will be in a better position than the USA.....
Eventually they'll probably have a single army and that would save a massive amount of money.
Also, the living standards are close to the USA while also having health care and quite generous social policies.

The U.S has problems. Europe is a train wreck that's gonna get worse. When you have this many unemployed, the next step is social unrest

The crisis has affected the 16-25 age segment worst of all, with jobless rates running at catastrophic levels of 58.7 percent in Greece and 56.1 percent in Spain.
The data showed the eurozone youth unemployment rate rose to 23.9 percent in June from 23.8 percent in May, with the EU up to 23.2 percent after 23.1 percent.

Anglo-Saxons are my least favorite, i actually hate their guts.

Have you ever looked at the paintings of the European Royal families and said to yourself "damn, they were some ugly people!"? Well, of course we know that they married for political reasons, but where did all the "beautiful/handsome" genetics come from? My guess would be from the local populace. Many of the genetics for symmetrical faces have been passed down from generation to generation, so they had to come from somewhere. So, to me the peasants of Europe had better genes for attractiveness than the Royal families...
-
The European Union has 500 million people; the U.S 300 million. So, your argument doesn't really mean much.
Let's precisify things a bit. Your original comment presupposes that the U.S. is "better" than Europe and asserts that Europe is "rotted to the core" economically.
1. The issue of which is "better" is rather subjective, so I won't pursue it any further. Considerations like life expectancy, however, indicate that the issue isn't so clear cut as you make it out to be (probably, the U.S. is better in some senses, Europe in others).
2. Meanwhile, we can construct a simple reductio* of your "rotten" claim as follows: Assume that Europe is rotten economically and the U.S. isn't. Presumably, if this is true then the relevant European indicators shouldn't be comparable with U.S. indicators, lest we be forced to conclude that the U.S. is rotten as well.
Yet when we look at the data, we see that Europe is comparable economically ([1]) and in fact outright superior in certain respects (absolute size of economy, upward mobility). So Europe is and isn't comparable, a contradiction flowing from our assumption that it is, from which it follows we need to reject that assumption.
*Assuming something is true in order to show that it leads to contradiction, thus refuting it
Per capita stats are what you want to look at. The U.S GDP per Capita is 48k a year; the EU 32k, not even close. U.S unemployment 7.4%; the EU 10.9. Again, not even close.
Per capita values don't tell the whole story by a long shot (they don't tell us about income inequality, what most people get payed, their standards of living, nor their total compensation).
As for unemployment, 7.4% doesn't seem drastically different from 10.9%, given that Europe is currently undergoing a crisis. Further, the US value is U-3 unemployment -- U-6 unemployment includes those who are no longer looking for work and is at 14%.
Also, picking some 5 million pop. homogeneous country, with no military, and comparing it to the U.S is just grasping at straws. It's like comparing a Mom and Pop to Walmart, and concluding that the former is a better business than the latter because it has a higher profit margin.
I didn't do this, so this comment isn't relevant.
from an ecomonic standpoint, the U.S owns Europe, and it's not likely to change anytime, soon.
I still haven't seen any evidence for this.
In fact, anyone in Europe with money is looking to get it out of there.
Nope.
[1] Relative share of gdp per hour worked, 2011 -- Even in the midst of a crisis, European productivity levels are pretty close to the U.S.'s (keeping in mind as well that they generally work less hours and have more benefits)

Despite everything, the vast majority of people live good living standards throughout Europe and enjoy good levels of services and social policies.
Things can't always be smooth, especially for a relatively newly formed state but one has to look long-term and not just the next few years.
It makes sense for Europe to be united in order to take on China, Russia and the US.

Syntax,
I read a study which shows that while Europeans do work less than American at proper jobs, they're more likely to do things that Americans will pay to have done, things like house painting, and when that is factored in, the amount worked is close to equal. So, the Gdp per hour worked is misleading. In addition, that stat also assumes that if they did work more hours, their productivity would remain the same.
-
Seems to me like Americans are paid to show up and be held captive for 8 hrs and productivity is not a big factor.
-

No, that's called High School, minus the being paid part.

Americans are riddled with GMO's and Fluoride and prescription drugs and a ton of other bad shit. Europeans are relatively free of all that crap atm TOUCH WOOD.
Seriously?!? Fluoride!?! Your problem is with water fluoridation which typically introduces less than a milligram of a fluoride compound per liter of water? That's one part of fluoride per million parts of water... many places I'm the world have higher naturally occurring levels of fluoride!
You also realize just about every toothpaste you can buy has fluoride in it, right? That fluoride is widely studied and it's positive effects on dental health are well-documented as is its low toxicity at the levels we are talking about. Right?
Gah... why are we riddled with so many idiots!
-
Impact of fluoride on neurological development in children
In a meta-analysis, researchers from Harvard School of Public Health (HSPH) and China Medical University in Shenyang for the first time combined 27 studies and found strong indications that fluoride may adversely affect cognitive development in children.
http://www.hsph.harvard.edu/news/features/fluoride-childrens-health-grandjean-choi/
-
From the link you provide:
The researchers conducted a systematic review of studies, almost all of which are from China where risks from fluoride are well-established. Fluoride is a naturally occurring substance in groundwater, and exposures to the chemical are increased in some parts of China.
Please read what I wrote. I specifically mentioned the low toxicity at the levels at which fluoride is added to water in the United States for water fluoridation purposes. The water in this case is naturally fluoridated - at levels much higher than the levels we are talking about.
Additionally, as the link points out, many of the studies were incomplete, lacked sufficient controls and the results of this meta-analysis were only a “first step”.
And just so you don't think I'm spouting nonsense, the authors of this study released this clarification - also linked via the page you reference. The emphasis is mine:
-- When considering the risks and benefits of fluoride exposure, the level of intake needs to be considered.
--Possible risks to brain development in children have been studied in China, but this possible hazard has not received much, if any, consideration in the U.S.
--Our study summarized the findings of 27 studies on intelligence tests in fluoride-exposed children; 25 of the studies were carried out in China. On average, children with higher fluoride exposure showed poorer performance on IQ tests. Fluoride released into the ground water in China in some cases greatly exceeded levels that are typical in the U.S.
--In general, complete information was not available on these 27 studies, and some limitations were identified.
--All but one of the 27 studies documented an IQ deficit associated with increased fluoride exposure.
--These results do not allow us to make any judgment regarding possible levels of risk at levels of exposure typical for water fluoridation in the U.S. On the other hand, neither can it be concluded that no risk is present. We therefore recommend further research to clarify what role fluoride exposure levels may play in possible adverse effects on brain development, so that future risk assessments can properly take into regard this possible hazard.
The next time you head over to Google, slam your keyboard furiously with your stubby little fingers and copy-paste something from the first link that pops up, you may want to be a good boy read it carefully first. You know... in case it doesn't actually support the point you're trying to make.

When I see someone use this stat, I know they're just trying to make a political point.
Even in a great economy, someone is highly unlikely to get a job IF THEY AREN'T LOOKING FOR ONE.
And what are these so-called discouraged workers doing for money? I don't know about you, but I don't have the option of being discouraged, if I don't want to end up homeless. These are people who don't need to work in the first place, like wives whose husbands work.
If the European economy was really superior, you wouldn't have to massage every stat that doesn't say what you want to hear.
Don't get me wrong. I'm no flag waver. The median American is a fat, disgusting slob, but he's richer and has more stuff than the average European.

The problem is that it's not. A German thinks of himself as German first, and European second. An American thinks of himself as American first, and whatever state he lives in, second. Plus, you have the language differences that makes for less labor mobility. An American can drive 500 hundred miles and the people still be speaking English.
-
I think maybe Europeans are smarter than Americans too. All the dumb ones caught the Mayflower to America.
-
If the European economy was really superior, you wouldn't have to massage every stat that doesn't say what you want to hear.
1. I don't think anybody has explicitly asserted that the European economy is superior. Speaking for myself, all I've done is contest your claim that Europe is "rotted to the core" economically due to "socialism". I didn't need to address the socialism issue, because the argument terminated in the conclusion that Europe isn't rotted at all (a larger economy, similar productivity levels, more innovation, more economic mobility, more benefits for workers, more corporations on the top 500 list, and a similar unemployment rate despite a crisis seems to me sufficient evidence).
2. If my bringing up U-6 is massaging, then your contesting it by asserting that all of those "discouraged workers" are really lazy bastards is counter-massaging. Let's call it even.
3. I don't want to hear (or not hear) anything. I have no lifelong allegiance to either region, having lived in both.
The median American is a fat, disgusting slob, but he's richer and has more stuff than the average European.
Well, when you want to present the evidence for this, we'll be able to evaluate it and judge the claim accordingly.

If there's more innovation, why isn't a single European company on this list. You're telling me this isn't a bit odd considering the EU is the largest economy in the world? My contention is that Europe is so Centrally Planned that that you're not gonna get this type of relatively new company, there. If you look at the biggest Euro companies, you'll find that they are very old and originated during a less regulated time. To be fair, you have the same situation in more Centrally planned parts of the U.S economy: Healthcare, Education and Finance.

It comes down to this, Europe, collectively is like 5 people living in a house, each making 50k a year. The U.S is three people living a house, each making 75k a year.

I read all that already. And my point still stands.
Your points - "higher in SOME areas"
- yeah, not ALL.
And "These results do not allow us to make any judgment regarding possible levels of risk at levels of exposure typical for water fluoridation in the U.S. On the other hand, neither can it be concluded that no risk is present. "
- still cause for concern. I did not misrepresent the study in any way.

I'm not competent to judge whether the number of IT companies from an economy is a proper metric of its innovation, but if it is, that chart is indeed telling.
However, Europe being less innovative is entirely consistent with my rebuttal, since it is perfectly reasonable to expect the U.S. to perform better on some economic metrics, Europe on others. That Europe performs better or just as well as the U.S. on a significant class of metrics remains firm evidence against the "rotted" claim, to say nothing of non-economic variables like quality of life (and of women!).
That may change in the future, of course.

No, I've given you lots of evidence: GDP per capita, which is the most widely used metric, as well as unemployment stats. You're obviously married to your opinion and will not change it regardless of the evidence I introduce. To be fair, neither will I.

The problem is that that data can be construed as evidence for a wide variety of claims, many of which are more reasonable than the sweeping and absolutist one you asserted.
Most of our knowledge as individuals is gained by deferring to the relevant experts. If you think a survey of economists would reveal that they too think that the European Union's unemployment rate being a couple of percentage points higher than the U.S.'s is firm evidence of the former being a socialist wasteland, then that says all that needs to be said about you, and no fruitful conversation is possible.
That said, I do think that the U.S. is best situated to dominate economically for the duration of this century, but more because of its being the "least worst" economic unit over Europe and China. Perhaps we can at least agree on this.
