"Don't worry, just eat meat, green veggies and some omega 3 fats."

"Yes, but you have to pay me money for the next few months to make sure you are doing it"

In the past 10 years for example I helped roughly 200 people..it is my experience that nobody was able to follow a simple guideline diet .. the art is to be able to help that person psychologically and make the necesarry adjustements when needed

wise up jeff ..

He does now, it only took you 10 seconds to tell him.
It disgusts me how people can take money from others for so little time and effort on their part.

I helped a guy loose 150 lbs I shit you not. His father is a sailor and works on the same ship as this guy. This guy is their cook and was desperate because he is morbidly obese. Hearing about what I did with that guy he contacted me and asked me for help. So for 250 dollars, I will spend the next few months helping him (we communicate almost daily).

Fat only burns in muscle tissue... whether he likes it or not, he had to gain muscle.

Good job ~

My formerly obese client, 5'8" just under 300 lbs. ~ now a Paramedic and of course 100% natural:

High Intensity workouts for the most part.

Eccentric/Negatives prioritized often

Short rest periods/ fast paced

Taught to eat like a Type 1 Diabetic (who follows Dietetic Protocol)

"0" Cardio

He was going to work at 4 pm and returning home at 4 am, also interning, coming to his training sessions at 12:30

Also quit smoking ~

I hope some other trainers will post up some of their best clients (not the "hot" clients, that thread would be too long) ~ post up the ones that work so hard and sacrifice everything to get in shape. These people are rare in the overall scheme of things ~

That sounds like a reasonable pay for the amount of work you put in. Is he hungry on this diet or can he eat all the lean meat he wants to?

it is not .. I can easily blow that money on a couple of nights out while I work a few good months with a guy like this. I think it is very little money for the knowledge, information and the ability to guide a person through a transformation like this.

He feels ok .. he eats maybe 500 g of meat daily plus a couple of eggs

more evidence that exercise is not needed for fat loss

Yes, some form of exercise is definitely necessary.

It just doesn't have to be your "traditional" gym rat, Flex magazine, set and rep protocol.

Dieting alone will allow you to lose a lot of "Weight" but proportionately, it will be Lean Body Mass. This is the fuel. Hence, Auschwitz "starvation" victims who were highly emaciated with clavicles and ribs showing, but still having high amounts of bodyfat.

Sometimes it is necessary for health reasons just to lose the weight, but if you do it without exercise, the ability to burn fat diminishes because the body cannabalizes muscle tissue for energy and soon there is nothing left to work with.

Many people have to realize that they will have to look worse before they look better if they really want to be "fit"

Losing 'weight' is easy. Losing fat is a science.

Fat loss?  Best call it 'weight loss', as I assure you the majority of that 30lb loss is water, as it always is when a significantly overweight person drops initial weight.

everyone "knows" how to get in shape. the reason some pay for trainers or nutritionists is to have basically a "handler" to make sure they actually do it. that's where the money comes in. it's not about sev having some magic diet for the guy, it's about sev being there to keep him on track.

With this guy in the kitchen, I bet everyone else on the ship must be rail-thin... ;D

But in all seriousness, that's not a half-bad loss, although a large amount is bound to be water, especially in the first couple of weeks.

In real life it *rarely* works out like this. You can spot the clients that will make good progress during your initial consultation.

You can also spot the ones that are going to be nothing but problems and drama. The hotter they are, the worse it's gonna be.
