I predicted smaller and shredded. I said he CAN diet down enough to be diced, but the on-and-off training over the last 2 years means he just can't regain the size needed to compete with the top guys. He'll be 20 pounds smaller than Kai on game day, and while he'll be shredded, his arms will look 2 inches smaller. In my opinion.
Plus I think if he looked THAT good, we would be seeing a little more than a 640x image at an angle. Smaller and shredded. Body looking small when you really look closely. Hair running backwards like the Mets Aquafina man. He's going all out, and he loves what he does... but I stand by my prediction that he'll be freakin' shredded... but small. See the forearms...
(totally not hating on Jay... one of the best ever... but being a fan of the sport, I see him not being able to replicate past shape, and kai/phil are going all out)

If you think about it, Jay has the absolute largest chance of beating Phil Heath.
Everyone else have an uphill battle but Jay has a shoe in being a former Mr Olympia, with the political climate of ifbb judging being what it is.

Jay looks good which just adds to this Olympia. Phil, Kai, Jay, Rhoden. realistically, any one of these guys can win the show. It's gonna be awesome. And props to Jay for appearing to make himself a legit threat.

Back is something that Kai/Phil develop over the past 2 years, training like monsters and keeping their heads down.
Jay was small for at least 50% of the past 2 years, focusing on other things. Even when he was training, it was big arms and chest for the autographs. I have to think the deadlift rack time that Kai and Phil spent, WILL show on the O stage. You can't fake 2 years of heavy ass back training.

Never knew Phil ever trained heavy ass dead lifts?? Everything he does seem to be hammer strength, some machine pull downs, machine squats etc...
