his wife is hot tho.

my brother used to work out at the golds King works out in sometimes.  He said he is so wide in person it is ridiculous.  he also said he would have a weight belt on and he was so fat/big in the offseason that King had to put the belt on the last rung  to fit it around him.

He is such a liar.  The column he writes each month is a joke.   And the way he was talking about his new video, it being "nasty Dorian style training" was laughable.  Especially after one sees that he has spotters doing the majority of the work for him.

and he claims to be one the of top IFBB pros....   *loser*

Not in his or anyone elses life time, I want video proof of him (or anyother bodybuilder) doing those lifts, I would guess if he could anything, including eating (well I might believe that ::)) that he claims you can bet it's half....Kamali, I'm calling you out..................... PROVE IT!

To be fair, I'd bet that is Muscle-Tech's doing, not Kamali's. If he's gonna lie, I'm sure he'd at least make it somewhat believeable.

He didn't say dead lifts, he said 1/4 dead lifts, he keeps his legs pretty much straight and just does the top portion, like in a smith machine where you can't go all the way down.

Deadlifts out of a power rack---not from the floor.

Then he should have clarified it was a PARTIAL deadlift and even if it was a partial that weight is hard to believe. It isn't  any wonder why these guys are injured  so often with training like that. You don't have to train that heavy to obtain the results you want, train smarter not heavier, stupid training results in more injuries....PERIOD!

I've seem him do up to 675lbs. for reps out of a power rack.  Plus, he did close to 700lbs. hack squats for 10 reps.  Saw him do this at Bev Francis' Gold's Gym earlier this year.

That's not terribly strong. Terry Todd used to do partial deadlifts from knee level with 900+, and his best regular deadlift was around 700. I doubt King could deadlift much over 500.

was looking through the latest Musclemag and there was a couple of Muscletech spreads on Kamali in there and either he's lying his ass off in those ads or he's the least genetically gifted pro ever, he claims 4 sets of 12-15 reps on deadlifts with 800lbs. and they have his diet outlined for the day and it looks like he eats the whole grocery store plus a couple of cows, and takes a nap after every meal, hahahaha, ok King, if you live that lifestyle why are your arms still 17 and a half inches with non-existent legs?

Musclemag is the WORST bodybuilding mag, in existence. It is basically a huge ad for muscletech. For instance, a few years ago they would do these ads, desguised as "special reports", on Greg Kovacs. Sure, Kovacs is a monster in size and strengh, who makes Coleman look like a peanut, in comparison(440 lbs, with single-digit bodyfat). What they don't mention, however, is that Kovacs is 6'2 and has a GIGANTIC frame. Any man over 6' tall, with a mesomorphic bodybuild and a large frame can weight 400+ lbs, if he takes the amount of drugs pro bodybuilders take and train for hypertrophy-and not strengh. Some of those "World's Strongest Man" competitors, who are 6'4+ with mesomorphic frames, could actually reach the 500 lbs mark(silverback gorilla weight), with average bodyfat, if they did everything pro bodybuilders do. The reason why pro bodybuilders weight "only" between 250 and 300 lbs, is that they are usually of average stature, with average frames. A smaller frame is an advantage in bodybuilding, because it gives a better flow of muscle, compounded by the fact that small joints makes muscles look larger. Kovacs is much bigger and stronger than any pro bodybuilder ever will be, but his genetics are not good enough even for the amateur level, of bodybuilding. Everything Musclemag writes is bullshit. Just trying to help.

Musclemag is a piece of shit magazine.  it used to be good about 15 years ago, but has fizzled to nothing now.

Kamali is utterly ridiculous in his column, which shows nothing but the fantasy land this 5th tier pro lives in.  Last month he states that anyone would give their right arm to place 5th in the Ironman like he did.

5th?  Ironman??

What an asshat.  He couldn't win his pro card again on any national level.

Probably 6, because the only one left after ranking Kamali is what Greg, Kenny Jones, and Stan McCrary reside in.

And to think that King is now trying to wet everyone's appetite by hinting that he will be making a comeback at this year's Olympia.  Hahahahahahhaaha.

Again, i pity poor Barbara.  She is a very stoical and resiliant human being.
