after trying for 10 months, i finnally hit 315 for six clean reps with no spot on the incline press. some days i would only get one rep,some days i would get 6 with a spot. some days i would get none.
but i kept trying. after warming up, everything felt really good today. hit two sets of 275 for 6. felt really light. went to three wheels and boom, no problem. best set i every hit. and im 56!

These are the moments I live for in the gym. It's these days I think that some PRs may get broken. That's why I love the weights....its just me against gravity and some days I win big.

only other set that changed my life was 405 squat for 20 reps. only did it once, kicked the living shit out of me, mentally and physically. this set is right up there on my all time list.

Congrats. That is bad-ass for your age. Wish my shoulders were as healthy as yours sound.

i never quite got to 3 plates for incline... i used to do sets with 290 odd for 5 or 6 before i started getting shoulder probs,... as far as the pr thing goes, me and my brother used to try and out rep each other with the stack on the horizontal hack squat, i think one day we got upto 40 odd reps

3 wheels in incline? That's a life-goal for me. I would retire after that. With my ape-arms, I have to move that weight about a yard to full lockout.
