Title: Amazon Drones
Post by: bradistani on December 04, 2013, 10:58:41 AM
haha, wow!

Amazon Prime Air is a delivery system Amazon Inc. plans to implement into their service by the year 2015. Small packages purchased through Amazon.com will be shipped to the buyer via air drone in as little as 30 minutes.

Yeah until a gust of wind blows one into some kids face...or a car windshield.

I saw that piece too.  Dont see it actually happening..the liability is enormous.   Unmanned helicopters with multiple rotors whizzing through neighborhoods.  And they aren't piloted..they are dumb....programmed coordinates

LOL.

or poor people start knocking them out of the sky and taking the shit.

An unmanned plastic helicopter with a 600 dollar tablet hanging from it... What could possibly go wrong.

Fuck that.  I'd keep the drone, disable the tracking device then sell them to the Pakis for lots of money.

Iran will claim that they shot it down and then build a fake mock up.

I'm sure they'll think of this before it takes effect. They'll be goverened by same federal mail laws that are in place now. You mess with one & you just got fed time.

Btw those rotors are harmless.

How will this thing navigate through my powerlines and trees? Also it will only go 10 miles from a distribution center. There isnt one 200 miles from my house and I live in NY. Will they deliver to the ghetto? Will my shipping cost's increase? Fuck this shit, sounds like a free marketing ploy.

I can't see this happening, but possible of course.
Only in America, is "next day air" not good enough to get their Shakeweight in time to burn holiday fat.
Age of the self important.  I need my package NOW!  Then I'll get back on my iDick and order something else, while checking my Twitter, then posting my findings on Facebook.
If the country imploded, I can't say I wouldn't have a little smile on my face. :D

It won't. Correct. True. No. For sure. Exactly.

do you really think they'll go through the effort to track down where the shot pellets that obliterated it came from? redencks see these things flying over their property and they go bye bye package gets stolen ect. Enforcement would be too costly.
