if he can get down to 10% bodyfat ;D
I actually find this amazing! Most bodybuilders work for years, perfecting their bodies and getting into contest shape, to be even LOOKED at by a supp company. This guy who never got into shape and is most likely mentally handicapped will now be sponsored if he can get into beach season shape.
I guess it goes to show that its all about marketing. None of these companies give a shit about the physique they're sponsoring, only if that person has a big following, even if its for the wrong reasons.
Congrats to Jason! (if he can pull off 10%, which history dictates chances are he'll fail)

An autistic dude on PEDs and dieted down.

I tried finding the video, but I only saw it on facebook (I know, I know ... outed) and can't find it on youtube. I searched facebook but don't see the video anymore ... maybe they told him to keep it under wraps until he actually gets down to 10%.

I just tried to play a youtube video posted on another forum and it says the video was set to "Private", so probably not going to be set to public until the deal actually happens.

That's what I thought when I saw the video... But maybe he misunderstood what they said and reacted too quickly. Or his trainer has contacts there and convinced them that he'd bring in good sales numbers because of his following. The guy is probably the most followed "bodybuilder" on youtube.

I will wait until Goodrum posts about this before I believe it's true ;D

Interesting comment left by Jason, "Fuck you ni**er...," hmm, he's going to make his sponsor proud

Wow! :o he has some serious anger issues... Maybe they dropped him by now because of that, hence all the videos down?

most BBs are unknown and therefore useless to a supp company.

They do give out very small sponsorships.... ie trade price supplements or a very limited amount every month.

Is that photo shopped? I don't remember his upper body looking quite so good.

WTF ???
Sad stuff when a top company is willing to sponsor a goofy fuck like this to attract his "fans" which are all 15 years old so they`ll buy their protein powder.
GENERATION NOTHINGNESS! :(

How so? Business is about selling your product so that you can turn a profit and then expand. In theory, as you expand you'll hire more people and make more money or at the very least sustain your current profits.
Selling protein powder to 15 year old's is a huge part of the supplement world's business plan. I'd venture to say that it has been that way since the industry began. Obviously, Optimum thinks that Jason Genova has a larger market for them to tap than guys who are better bodybuilders but who are less visible.

He sux as a bodybuilder,in fact,I wouldn`t insult bodybuilders by even classifying him as one.
I give him props for training, but he`ll never get cut enough anyway so it`s a moot point.
Anybody can workout, not everybody can get ripped.
Diet=a lot tougher than training.

You're correct that diet is much tougher than training however, that doesn't have anything to do with Optimum's decision. Optimum is concerned with return on investment and making profits.
