The scientists who engineer GMO food, and the lobbyists and politicians who tell people to eat it, won't have anything to do with it themselves, they wont feed it to their families. Same thing with vaccines. Guess why the government excluded themselves from Obamacare. Politicians and royal families often have access to their own private organic farms, while financing Monsanto with tax money and telling people to eat their genetic engineered foods.
GMO was a political move to begin with. USA just wanted new ways of competing on the international market after losing so much of their industry. So they decided food engineering to be the future technology to sell, mostly to 3rd world nations. But you must have your domestic population consuming GMO or it will look bad trying to sell it to the rest of the world. Hence Monsanto is financed and given free access to the American market while banning GMO labeling.

Without GMO foods 2/3 of the human population would die of starvation. Look up Norman Borlaug, the man is a hero. He saved BILLIONS of people from starvation with GMO foods, namely wheat that grows in very dry conditions and yields much more crop, and corn that yields multiple times the crop than its non-GMO counterpart.
If you believe that 2/3 of the population should drop dead, then by all means I encourage you to volunteer to be part of that 2/3.

How exactly are the "fucked?" David S. is a HARDCORE environmentalist wacko and hasn't stepped foot in a lab in a very long time by his own admission. There are many scientist that very much disagree with him. Besides if GMO's are fucked, then so is Insulin, HGH and a host of other medicines that are created with GMO technology much more extreme than those found in crops.
