The scientists who engineer GMO food, and the lobbyists and politicians who tell people to eat it, won't have anything to do with it themselves, they wont feed it to their families. Same thing with vaccines. Guess why the government excluded themselves from Obamacare. Politicians and royal families often have access to their own private organic farms, while financing Monsanto with tax money and telling people to eat their genetic engineered foods.
GMO was a political move to begin with. USA just wanted new ways of competing on the international market after losing so much of their industry. So they decided food engineering to be the future technology to sell, mostly to 3rd world nations. But you must have your domestic population consuming GMO or it will look bad trying to sell it to the rest of the world. Hence Monsanto is financed and given free access to the American market while banning GMO labeling.
