All I know is my personal situation and those around me. Not one has seen a decrease in rates or costs. I don't need to see ads with people in it and their situations. I and those around me live this garbage.
Skyrocketing costs and mandates directly as a result of obamacare. If they run some stupid ad like this - does not change my personal situation at all.

Millions of Americans lost their health insurance coverage starting October 1st, 2013 because of Obamacare. Then they were unable to sign up for a new insurance policy because of the broken Obamacare website. Now, that's heart breaking.

All you have to do is turn off your cable, Internet and cell phone and you can afford your insurance. Its all about priorities and proper budgeting. The president said so. But god forbid you ask a person on gov benefits to budget and get an ID card to vote. Thats asking to much.

Her yearly premium is lower by $1,000 a year but her DEDUCTIBLE is higher.
I want to know much higher. Because that is the trick here people. ACA hikes your deductible from $500 to $2500 in order to even attempt to give you a lower premium.
If her deductible went up by $2000, she isn't saving anything. She is actually spending $1000 more.

If her deductible goes up by 6500 like most have but she does not have the 6500 in savings ? Than her costs are going up if the premium stays the same or is even a little lower since she will have to spend that out of pocket before even the insurance kicks in.

There is no such thing as a decrease of $2500.
There's no 3000% decrease in premium for employees.
You can't keep your doctor.
You can't keep your insurance plan.
You can only get a lower premium by getting a jacked up deductible and your neighbor paying for you. The OP is happy with stealing from his neighbor.
Yet, the OP pulls 1 ad out of so many stories of people who have lost their insurance and DID NOT GET BETTER COVERAGE NOR LESSER PREMIUM.

By the way. Average cell phone bill is about $90 a month. Average silver plan in crapcare is $249 a month.

My health insurance premium went up a nominal amount, but my deductibles shot through the roof. My company even distributed an email prior to open enrollment explaining the restructuring and explicitly attributing the changes to the Affordable Care Act.

However, for employees who are married with children and include their family in the policy, both premiums and deductibles shot through the roof. It was like a mule kick to the face, one said.
