Jay Cutler - 1999 BFTO DVD PICS!!!
Jay Cutler 3 & 1/2 weeks out from the 1999 Mr. Olympia. You can tell by these pics that Jay was going to nail it sooner or later and he did two years later at the 2001 Mr. Olympia. Those wheels were always crazy striated.

I’ve noticed that today’s bodybuilders are eating Ezekiel bread, gluten free food, more organic, incorporating now a lot of antioxidant supplements, more knowledgeable on eating for muscle, health, and dieting a certain way. Then you have the Golden ERA of bodybuilding in the 70s 80s 90s where people didn’t know much of dieting other than eating less fats, didn’t know the beneficiary of certain food that has high antioxidant, digestive enzyme, vitamins, etc. And not to mention all the NEW workout machines and equipment we have now. So can we count that eating more organic, gluten free food, is actually not as beneficial when it comes to bodybuilding when it comes to cost efficiency. My best shape was in 06, where I was eating store bought, non-organic, heavy in gluten, no vegetables, high in protein supplements that at that time was mostly Soy protein.

This is also when he use to workout with weights and not all machines...Nowadays the HGH/IGF/Slin/SEO all turned on him. His organs aren't filtering like they use to.

Great arms, legs full and the same size as each other, forearms not receded, actual X-mas tree back...hell he could even do a vacuum pose back then. Should've stopped right there and held on to that as long as possible.

Staying on the nostalgia motif, Ronnie Coleman before the 1998 Olympia. Note the small waist and excellent proportions. Wow. Shame he never heard the adage that "Less is more."

You're not too smart are you? I took these screenshots years ago. Plus, the uploader of the video on Youtube put his logo (no logo in my pics) in the video and flipped the image. It was also uploaded on Youtube Nov 30, 2013.

Talk about regression.......these cats use so much that they hit a point of diminishing returns,then after that,total regression, followed by extreme Palumboism. :(
I miss the 70`s and 80`s look of the top guys..........nobody today look as good to me.

In my eyes, bodybuilding peaked in 1990. That was basically the last year these guys looked human and focused on symmetry and balance instead of radioactive mass.

That entire period had great physiques. Zane, Columbu, Platz, Arnold, Fox.
But I feel by the mid-80s they had diet and training down to a science. Which is reflected in their highly-developed and more balanced physiques during the 85-91 period compared to the 70s and early 80s. It's when they cracked the code, pretty much. Then Dorian came along and Ronnie and bodybuilding became the stuff only a handful of fanatics and perverts aspire to be associated with. The average man doesn't want to look like Phil Heath nor has any means to do so. Many would prefer Ray's, Haney's, or Labrada's bodies in that time period.

haney's 91 look makes this look like he was 4-5 wks out,labrada looked good but smaller/ray was softer /still had full look and shape,gaspari was on way down even from 89 start and by 91 done,he looked worn /down sized .

wiggs i know its crazy whole overall presentation,arms yeah they lacked detail even here ,but skin tone,chest/delts/traps were just really on point.amazing how much bigger he kept getting..

thats the the problem you had coleman with superior size,condition at the time 98/03 muscle hanging all over ,and jay a white mass type that could not out shape him like say wheeler type look,so he had no choice to do what it took to close the window.that pic i posted was great for jay but standing with coleman wasn't big enough .he did well ...in the end.
