Sterling was already fined 3 million a few years ago for discriminating against blacks and latinos living in his apartments and yet Al Sharpton and the NAACP was still on this man's nuts....in fact the NAACP was about to give this guy a Lifetime Achievement Award.

What should happen is allow all players and personnel the ability to leave. You allow all players who are drafted to the team an option to not play for them, but still get paid by them.
Why didn't Doc and the Clippers players get on a Mic and refuse to play a game? Apologize to the fans and say we can't do it... Then not play for the guy AT ALL.

I think Richards' career was kaput after Kramer anyway. Deen survived probably because she has a different audience, less pressure on sponsors, perhaps. There are clauses in the collective-bargaining agreement that account for this. Sure, he could maybe keep the Clippers but they wouldn't be allowed to participate in the NBA

100% spot on...My buddy owns 9 multifamily homes. He says that it's a fukcing nightmare when he takes the chance to rent out to certain ethic groups. Some of these people will bring in 9 or 10 of their relatives to live in a 1-2 bedroom apartment and try to hide them. They wreck the stoves, refrigs, bathrooms etc. He checked on them one time and they had a fukcing outdoor gas grill going in the living room. The whole ceiling was burnt up. Smells that you couldn't believe. And trying to evict them is a whole other nightmare...Court system and police walk on eggshells with these people. Anyone who thinks you shouldn't discriminate is living in fantasy land...

The news was first reported by the New York Post.
The Post, citing sources, reported that the 80-year-old Sterling has been battling prostate cancer for an extended period of time.
Sterling was banned for life from the NBA and fined $2.5 million by commissioner Adam Silver earlier in the week after racist remarks he made were published by TMZ. Silver has urged the league's owners to force a sale of the Clippers, which they can do with approval from three-fourths of the league's 30 owners.
