I think it was a bad move... Don't get me wrong, Sterling is a douchebag of the highest order, but to put a ban on someone is ridiculous.
He owns a team... You shouldn't be able to just ban a person from the league.
What should happen is allow all players and personnel the ability to leave. You allow all players who are drafted to the team an option to not play for them, but still get paid by them.
Why didn't Doc and the Clippers players get on a Mic and refuse to play a game? Apologize to the fans and say we can't do it... Then not play for the guy AT ALL.
I don't like the idea of any administrative entity telling anyone what they can and can't do with their own personal property... in this instance, the name and likeness of the LA Clippers.
Plus, they should have fined him something closer to 20 million.
