Women don't have stronger legs. They have less-weak legs.
With the exception of Bertha, she puts most of the boys to shame on the leg press. :D
-
Women have physically bigger legs than guys generally, not stronger. Biological reason, women are the child bearers.

That.
And most men suffer from bathroom mirror syndrome. Because they can't see it in their bathroom mirror, they forget there is more body beneath the nipple line, and therefore don't train legs.
-
I've trained with a few girls who never trained before. Their legs were very strong, one was this petite thing at 100 pounds, she was leg pressing decent weight like it was nothing. Girls have strong legs.

This ^^^ Women store fat differently to men. Women tend to store fat on their thighs, ass and upper arms, men around the waist.
-
they don't
find a woman squatting 405 on youtube that doesn't look like a full on shebeast dyke
-
I don`t know,but I been told,a big leg woman ain`t got no soul.
-
Same thing others have said. Our legs are bigger because of fat. Also I don't think our legs are that much proportionally stronger, I think we just tend to work out legs more often.

Kara doing some strong squats.

Kara doing some strong squats.
Just a matter of time until she blows a disc.
seriously, whats the fucking point?
-
Kara doing some strong squats.
Should've skipped the incremental sets, saved her strength and went right to 400lbs. She probably could do it.

You really have no clue when it comes to weight training, do you?
How is what she's doing equate to specifically "blowing a disc"? Her form is spot-on and her back arch/alignment is perfect.
(And what's the point? The point is, she has a passion to build strength. Just like you have a passion to continually expose your lack of knowledge where weight training is concerned.)
Tell ya this, what she is doing is safer by a mile than leg pressing with lots of weight and going really deep.
-

I was thinking the same thing. Why all the dumb SMALL increments? Five pounds?!

The body isn't designed to have huge loads placed across the shoulders where the load is basically concentrated on the discs in the lower spine.
Most power lifters have problems in later life because they fuck up their joints lifting weights that are too heavy for them.
The girl in the vid is going to keep going heavier and heavier and eventually somethings going to give.
Powerlifting is stupid.

Actually simon your type of workout is more dangerous because you love to lift on machines which will make your muscles stronger but you are not working your core and stabilizer muscles so they remain weak and this eventually leads to an injury, so its actually safer to do her workout than to do yours.
-
No, woman have stronger pussies then men who dont train legs
-
If I recall correctly on average women have 60% of the leg strength of a man and 40% of the upper body strength.
-
If so, then thats why soccer is a womans sport

The human body is designed to perform vigorous work. Its capacity to adapt to specific intensities of varying physical movement is staggering.
You say "most" powerlifters have problems later in life. Funny, I personally know many one-time-champion powerlifters and, barring catastrophic injury (which usually results from use of drugs without a reasonable platform of training to structurally accommodate greater loads), a majority are JUST FINE. Sure, aches and pains here and there; but with older age, these things come to us whether we lift or not.
Better to be strong and achey than just achey.
You say powerlifting is stupid. If you think this, that's fine. You are entitled to your opinion.
However, you clearly don't know much of anything about strength training, so it might be best to avoid commenting about such things.
Some desire money. Some desire a larger home. Still some enjoy having a large family. And some like to buy extra-nice clothing. Some folks like to fight in cages and others like to train to run great distances.
And some desire to become elite examples of human strength and power.
Wouldn't surprise me if you desire to launch another pizza pocket into your microwave, drink beer and remain the average guy you'll likely always be.

Sounds about right. NO WOMAN I trained or saw working out had legs as strong as even weak men.
I think we just threw women a bone with that "legs as strong as ours" horseshit. ::)

I don't know. Maybe for their size and weight.
But, let's check out Cara Heads again (reposts)

That woman above is AWESOME. My kinda girl.
It's likely she doesn't use drugs/hormones, either. Just a hard-training young lady with a warrior spirit.
Puts most of the wimps on this board to shame.
P.S. I know it's possible, because my ex was a freak female, too, and, although not quite as strong as the woman above, she never touched drugs and just buckled down and worked her ass off. Wasn't afraid of heavy poundage or performing to her ultimate capabilities, session to session.

If you are talking about the woman I posted, she was a 2008 US Olympic alternate

I've actually seen some guys working with the same weights I use for some exercises. So maybe a somewhat beginner female (me) is equal to a completely untrained male. But men in almost all instances are going to be stronger

the bro science is palpable in this post.
i'm guessing that you're a big fan of dumbbell curls and 1 arm reverse grip cable concentration curls off of a preacher bench while kneeling on a bosu ball.....you know...to hit those stabilizer muscles.

Nope. Strong legs look powerful. Women are gonna like whatever level of muscularity they'll like, but you better believe women don't like chicken legs with a big upper body and vice versa.
Listen to what you typed... "big muscular legs look feminine"
...."big muscular arms look feminine"
...."big hands look feminine"
Etc
Basically anything big or muscular will not be associated with femininity

I take issue with some of your points here.
Firstly, arguing that the body is not designed to have huge loads placed across the shoulders is a ridiculous statement - name one sport where the mechanics of the sport involve something the body was "designed" to do? Like use the fine musculature of the shoulder to swing a baseball bat in the same repetitive motion? Or the elbows to swing a golf club? The knees and ankle joints were not "designed" to ride a bicycle. In fact I would go as far to argue that the movements involved in powerlifting (specifically the deadlift) do a better job than most sports of mimicking the physical tasks that our bodies evolved to be able to do in the first place.
Secondly, most high level athletes generally suffer some form of musculoskeletal trauma later in life. This is simply the result of years of accumulating strains and tweaks, performing the same repetitive motion and forceful exertions.
