Title: I think its "time" we start thinking of time as transformation and not hours
Post by: Marty Champions on July 17, 2014, 08:09:25 PM
minites seconds of clock time. numbers by themselves have near zero meaning.  If we as a group started thinking of time using ideas of transformation and transition we could develop very good theories related to the electromagnetic spectrum

the sun or the earth goes around eachother (geocentrism , conventional science either or) . it is a transformation, the form is changing positions as each "see-con-ed) goes by. if we take our understanding of what time is , it is just a way of charting a position our earth goes from start to finish around the sun

we arent aging by the clock moreso aging by our transformation capabilities or inabilities, all elements rocks, nutritions, materials, electricity will influence this "transformation" or you can call it "time"

so if we can agree that time=transformation then ultraviolet/electromagnetic radiation, elements, rocks, nutrition, magnetism , materials, electricity can change our personal time or transform US or transform clock time since they are one in the same

im not saying anything at all thats new but when you dont think about things in depth it will sit there forever collecting dust

we are too focused and obsessed with the thougtless idea of "time" is just a clock minites or hours, when(time) its really tracking transition and transformation. you can forget the word time ever existed because if you use "time" too much you dont think about tracking and transformation you see, youve dumbed it down thus dumbing down the rest of your sentence

this isnt "crazy" talk at all. just as if i were to command you to drop the word "talk". how would you describe it ? Emitting radio waves, scaler waves causing magnetism via vocal cords , commanding vibration of vocal cords. we kinda lose the real mystery of life with modern language

although modern language is useful and convienient, we must drop it in our deep studies of this existance

You bring up some interesting points.

On a personal note- How are you Johnny? I hope you're well. How's the training?

if im busy reading or learning i am sane, we will inevitably transform into geniuses in our quest for sanity

at first when someone learns something "heavy" about the world or a new revelation they might feel a bit insane at the weight of knowledge. and then some others will just feel happy or proud positive they learned something. And then alot of us will feel we must keep learning because there is much more that to be curious about like electricity.

So then daily routine hits , work ensues, eating shitting, porn girlfriend. then if you still have time at the end of the day you will feel "insane" watching another pointless comedy or action flick or sporting event. now if this insanity or boredome hits hard enough , you will think about electricity or some subject that gives you a better understanding of life then you become obsessed with learning, this is like a killer high all natural high because you know its the superior thing to do and it makes your imagination go wild at the potential of the newfound knowledge

To drop the word "time" we need to live in the jungle or on a an island where time doesnt matter.

How can we benefit of not thinking about time in civilization, it would be hard to get to job IN TIME, show up for a date or tune in for the game on TV.

Besides, isnt time mostly a good thing? Should we no longer set goals that are 3 or 6 months away. Should we no longer count reps and sets?

Without time or clocks we would advance beacuse we would have to do everything straight away.

He guys, shall we build a bridge over this river
We can do it next week
No we cant, theres no such thing as next week
Lets crack on and get it done now then

it is time to talk about what "time" really is-
is it effected by electricity=yes
effected by minerals=yes
effected by motion=yes

i can go on an on all things lead to compression of time, time reversal, time teleportation

we know time in our body because our composition changes

but as in a rock its biological time seldomly changes if at all with the sun going up and down like we do... unless presented with another mineral, electricity or motion

Being a gym owner is a difficult profession. You have long hours, huge expenses and hardly any return. I have had bodybuilders ask about steroids in the past. They wanted to know my opinion. I sent some to a sports doctor. It became clear later that almost every person who asked about steroids were already using them and were just asking to get some feedback about them. I know almost nothing about these substances. I doubt anyone else does, either. There are lots of beliefs out there but very little of what I would call knowledge. So it is no surprize that professional bodybuilders would be considered experts re steroids and other substances used in bodybuilding. If some people want to pay for this information then it is probably better than listening to guys who sell stuff on the black market. I have seen young kids get gynocomastia from listening to dopes. It really is pathetic and sad. Then the various governments made these chemicals illegal and all of a sudden people were breaking the law. I have no idea where anyone gets these drugs but where there is a demand there will be a supply. I have always believed that there is an insider group that shares information about drugs and the wider bodybuilding community knows nothing about it. Over the years I have had to guard against people selling steroids to members. Even when you are vigilant some will penetrate the gym and sell to those who are users. Oh, we all think we know who is using but I don't ask because I don't want to know. That is a decision that each bodybuilder has to make. I do know that a few of my really big guys are natural and resent anyone saying they take drugs. It seems if you get big enough people will accuse you of taking drugs.

So I can only imagine what I would do if anyone said I provided drugs to anyone in my gym or elsewhere. I have intergrity but you know it can be damaging when some make false statements. Some of the mud might stick and real damage can be done. On this board we find a professional making statements about another professional. How on earth is anyone supposed to know what the facts are? One person is saying he is innocent of all charges and is going out of his way to state facts about statements, people, etc. That is what an innocent person would do. It is also what a clever person might do. There is no way to establish if anyone is telling the complete truth. What is clear is that statements can cause damage to the reputations and character of others. I think it is not wise to make personal statements about other people online. I admire the candidness of Milos. Shawn, too, is fearless. We have a stalemate here but as it stands Shawn has to demonstate his charges or apologize to Milos for past trespasses. Shawn does not deny doing what Milos states he did. I suppose Shawn has a position, too, but knows it is foolish to use the internet to do that sort of thing.

In the meantime what is any reader to believe? I suppose that depends on who you know. It takes a very brave person to challenge someone else to state what he knows that the other was supposed to have done. Only a very confident person could do that. Let us hope that this confidence is based on integrity and honesty. I think without any evidence to the contrary that we should accept that Milos is telling the truth. It is one thing to believe things and quite another to have specific evidence of wrongdoing.

When I stayed at Ray Mentzer's place in 1991 (he owed me since he and Kathy stayed at my place in Sydney for at least 3 months a few years previously) he drove me to a few places. It took me two days to figure out I needed my own car. Ray spoke to the guy at the desk at Gold's Venice and I got a free membership card for my two week stay in LA. I remember when I first came to Gold's in 1968 in October that Joe let me train for free then, too. All he wanted to know was how long I would be there. I offered to do chores around the gym but he said it was okay.

The next year, 1969, I got married to Roz and guess where I wanted to go for my honeymoon? LA! I went to train at Golds and Joe took Roz to the Beach while I trained. I remember watching Joe play beach volleyball and since I loved most sports asked if I could join in. Nope, they had their group and that was that. While I was there I heard from Seymour Koenig that Joe wanted to sell the gym for $50,000. I was interested and joked with Joe that I would buy it if he financed me. Ah, what a bargain that would have been. However, I was no entrepreneur so who knows what would have happened to that name. I would have let Joe have the name back if he wanted to buy his gym back.

Anyway I visited Golds in 1980 but without Joe there it didn't seem like the same place. The next visit was in 1991.  I saw big Paul Dillette and thought he was a giant. He weighed about 290 then and had the widest shoulders I have ever seen. I think everyone felt he didn't have to pose and should have been Mr Olympia anyway. I introduced myself and was surprised to find out he was from Canada. I got him to pose for a few photos outside and I have one with the two of us in it. I wanted to post it with the caption, "Guess which one won Mr Canada?" Paul was disqualified in the Mr Canada but in my day there were no tests of any kind. Several days later I introduced Ray to Paul. Ray tells it like it is and declared that Paul's physique was ugly. I guess it was all those veins. Paul dwarfed Ray and Ray weighed about 260 then. Ray said I knew more people there than he did and I had been there for only 2 weeks while he had been there for 10 years. He introduced me to big Lou but I wasn't charged anything to shake his hand!. I saw Lou in 2000 and asked where Ray was. He said he hasn't seen him since the last time we met. I told him he still looked good and that made him smile.

While I was there in 91 I noticed this big muscular woman who had arms almost as big as mine. She really impressed me and I thought she either thought I was some ugly ass or she was a bit interested in me. I love the way those LA women aren't afraid of eye contact. Anyway, I noticed her several times during my daily visits to the gym. I thought to myself that I had better not approach her because for all I knew she might be a bloke! When you have been around beaches as long as I have you tend to be a bit more cautious. On my last day at the gym I showed a few people the photos I took of Paul. Achem Albrecht sp? was there training and also weighing about 290 pounds. So I walk up to Achem and show him my photos. The superlady is nearby so I say, "Hey, they say you gals look like fellas but this is what real men look like." She came over to have a look and introduced herself. I cursed myself because I knew her from the magazines. She had dark hair now and used to be a blond. I think she moved from there but she had a business giving nutrition advice.
