Yeah, I clicked on a video today and heard him speak for the first time. Sounds like Russel Brand. They both also have crappy English accents and not the pretty ones. Russel Brand especially, it sounds horrible.

Now that he's retired, I don't understand why he just doesn't hop on some pharmacy grade Test and GH. He'd blow up quickly and look really good.

I'm from the UK and never really understood the hype at the time given that there were better footballers around - in terms of both ability and looks.
However, I really have grown to like him over the last few years, mainly because he comes across as quite a classy guy and overcame adversity well (he was absolutely loathed by the British public after World Cup 1998).
Also worth mentioning that if you're from the UK then you are bound to know at least a dozen women who absolutely adore him. Two of my exes when I was a teen had posters of him all over their walls. :D

At the end of the day he is fairly simple lad that comes from a lower class english background. Was lucky to be good enough to get in the position he is in and earned a truck load of cash. A harmless simpleton that landed on his feet. Unlike like his darker colleagues he had enough of a semblance of neural tissue not to piss all his money up the wall. It also helped that he married the spice girl who whilst couldnt sing at all, was more than smart enough to recognise the power of brand beckham and help co-ordinate their combined earnings.

Two of them work together to make a brand. She never said a word about his alleged affair with rebecca loos or any other rumours unlike classless trash in hollywood. Yeah, I clicked on a video today and heard him speak for the first time. Sounds like Russel Brand. They both also have crappy English accents and not the pretty ones. Russel Brand especially, it sounds horrible.

Who is hating? You can`t admit that he has a shitty physique? I came into this whole thing not caring who Beckham was. The only things I knew about him that he played soccer (no idea if he was any good or not as I have never watched a soccer game and never will), made a shitty movie Bending Beckhams, always has looked WAY older than he is, has a shitty physique, likes to take his shirt off to show off his shitty physique, the media likes to tout his shitty physique as being the ideal, and he has an emaciated wife who looks like a wax figure and never makes any expression (just google her name and hit images, its crazy that non-expression in every single expression).

If I had to chose between looking like David Beckham and Evan Centropani as he appears in those recently posted photos of him guest posing off season, I'd choose David Beckham. David Beckham may not look jacked, but he is likely a lot healthier.
Personally, I shoot for a happy medium. I want to be fit and not a monster who has a shitload of health problems nor a rail like I once was many years ago.
