Title: Fad diets... TA's opinion...
Post by: Powerlift66 on December 22, 2014, 08:22:33 AM
Adam,

I'm not one to follow fad diets, but I always ate sort of similar to Mediterranean diet it seems. (Lean meats, fish, salads, fruit/nuts, oils, wine, etc).
Whats your take on that Mediterranian, or Paleo, etc).

Are there any you agree with (sort of, not following to the "T").

Or do you just go by what you like, common sense, etc?

Mediterranean diets are healthy, and those who eat them generally live longer.

there can be nothing bad said about the mediterranean diet so i dont see the question in asking.

is lean meat, fish, salad, fruit, nuts, oil wine suppose to be bad for you? no. so stop asking, start eating.

Indeed, the Failcon knows a thing or two on diet. The kale, olive oil, peanutbutter, um what else? Oh yeah, red clay and grass clipping. Granted he's put on 35% bf but he's gonna live a long time from ::) being a vegetarian. I highly doubt being 300lbs will contribute to him having an early heart attack or anything.

This.

You will get proper nutrition by default with variance.

Just keep your calories in an acceptable range.
