Interesting to see Paul Feinbaum, being of a different faith, joining them in the group prayer. This type of stuff is always nice to see.

Coach's next post:
A liberal Muslim homosexual ACLU lawyer professor and abortion doctor was teaching a class on Karl Marx, a known atheist.
"Before the class begins, you must get on your knees and worship Marx and accept that he was the most highly-evolved being the world has ever known, even greater than Jesus Christ!"
At this moment, a brave, patriotic, pro-life Navy SEAL champion who had served 1500 tours of duty and understood the necessity of war and fully supported all military decision made by the United States stood up and held up a rock.
"How old is this rock?"
The arrogant professor smirked quite Jewishly and smugly replied "4.6 billion years, you stupid Christian"
"Wrong. It’s been 5,000 years since God created it. If it was 4.6 billion years old and evolution, as you say, is real… then it should be an animal now"
The professor was visibly shaken, and dropped his chalk and copy of Origin of the Species. He stormed out of the room crying those liberal crocodile tears.
The students applauded and all registered Republican that day and accepted Jesus as their lord and savior. An eagle named "Small Government" flew into the room and perched atop the American Flag and shed a tear on the chalk. The pledge of allegiance was read several times, and God himself showed up and enacted a flat tax rate across the country.
The professor lost his tenure and was fired the next day. He died of the gay plague AIDS and was tossed into the lake of fire for all eternity.

Just so I'm clear, what was the professor's position on marijuana legalization and gun control?

Tebow is a good man who cannot throw an accurate pass, nor read a defense.
Once the NFL figured out his play, he's been very beatable. No team wants him, and it's got nothing to do with his politics or religion - the NFL hires all sorts of types, thugs and good folks too.
If tebow could play, he'd be in the league. He can't play. I know, everyone wants to play the victim with him - but aside from that lucky run in DEN when he had an incredibe D, refs on his side, and an awesome kikcing game (and lots of 13-10 games), tebow officially sucks in the NFL.

Tebow got railed in the NFL because of his open Christianity. But he's getting the last laugh, at least monetarily with SEC (ESPN) and Good Morning America. But no matter what happened he kept his faith and it using this platform to prove he wasnt a fake. Whether you're religious or not, this kid is a positive role model if there ever was one. People should learn from this.

If Tebow could read defenses of consistently hit an open man at 20 yards, he'd be an all-star.
He is SOOOOOOOOo good for business... espn, the NFL, they LOVED him.
You saw him "rally" against 4th string bubble guys in that 4th preseason game with the Jets.
I think he's a winner, an awesome role model, and I admire his religious beliefs and willingness to share it - but I KNOW he missed plenty of open men, lost a step with his speed, and could NEVER read defenses. Ever.
He's a great role model, but he can't play QB at that level. Any club with him on staff would make a shitload of $$... he just sucks though, that's just his on-field performance.

I don't follow football much, but many sport players are religious, as they always do the sign of the cross after scoring a touchdown. Hypothetically speaking, if he was as good as Tom Brady, I am sure he would have been drafted by some team. Why would a team let go of a star quarterback just because he is Christian? The small stuff I read and heard about it, he just was not that good.
Then again, I rarely follow sports so maybe I am way off. It just doesn't make sense that he would be let go if he was THAT good.
-

tebow had a magical run - Denver D was awesome, kicker won lots of games in that thin air, the refs screwed NE on one game, and everyone kinda helped it all come together. They caught PIT injured badly and won a game.
THEN Beliechick showed the NFL how to beat Brady. You MAKE him throw passes. keep the D line still, don't let him scrable. Make him throw good passes. And every 7th pass was in INT suddenly.
He's an awesome man, a good role model. BUT even after that, no matter where he went, Tebow was a shitty 3rd string option. He kept saying "I suck in practice, but I'm a GAME QB..." Sorry, that gets WRs hurt running in circles getting chopped waiting for tebow to pull some magic out of his ass.
Once Belichick showed how to beat him, Tebow's been beat every time. He "won" a pre-season game with last-minute heroics against 4th string defenders that were cut an hour later. He's a terrible Qb and a good man - his supporter keep saying he's an amaazing player but but but the NFL hates him. Sorry, he's the best thing the NFL had in twenty years. And he sucked
-
His time with the jets showed the rest of the league that unless you're going to make a commitment to him being your future he isn't worth the circus that follows him. No one wanted to take the chance on him as a long term answer, although I can argue that it wouldn't have been a bad idea, so they didn't have to worry about the drama.
-

Seriously? ::) ::)
If he was as good or better than Tom Brady, do you think NFL teams would let that pass them by and not offer him a deal? ::) ::)
NFL teams care about one thing: money.
Star quarterbacks bring championships games and championship wins bring money.
lol at actually believing an NFL team is going to pass by winning a championship and making millions, if not billions, because hes christian.

I guess you missed the part where I said he got railed out of the nfl because of his Christianity. 32 teams with 4 back ups on each team and arguably the best college QB that's ever played and they can't find him a spot? Let that sink in for a bit.

You can be a worldclass talent but if you dont gel with the team or they dont respect your role as leader your by no means guaranteed success.
A lesser talent with roster support can do more than a wonderful talent with much less support.
-
You can be a worldclass talent but if you dont gel with the team or they dont respect your role as leader your by no means guaranteed success.
Of course not, but do you honestly believe that his teammates had it out for him and did not respect him because of his religion? Shit, it seems like almost 100% of the guys in the NFL after scoring a touch down, bend down and give the sign of the cross, then point up to the sky to "God."
Your argument would have more weight if Tebow was a muslim or a jew.
To be honest, you sound like a crazy conspiracy theorist. :-\ :-\

This is the dumbest post you have ever made.
No player has EVER been run out of the NFL for being a Christian.
Tebow simply didn't have the brains to progress as a player like Brady, Brees or Rodgers did.

That first line. You keep right on believing that. Teams considered more of a distraction than a player. Could he have been a Rodgers, Brees or Brady? Probably not. But every nfl QB coach knows not to try and drastically change the mechanics of a player that's been throwing the same way since high school but rather perfect that mechanic. Hard to convince me that one QB coach couldn't have done that. His mechanics are what they are.

I like tebow. The reason he isn't in the nfl is because he couldn't hit wide open receivers.

I remember that game. But I can't help that he couldn't have capitalized on his skills after being released from Denver. Let's face it, I think if he did it once he could have done it again. Shoot, Rex Ryan never even gave him a chance and sat him all season.

God damn you are a retard. Practice squad players don't fucking count you moron.
Philadelphia Eagles
On February 28, 2013, Kinne signed with the Philadelphia Eagles,[11] and he was released on August 30, 2013. On October 22, 2013 Kinne was re-signed to the Eagles practice squad because of injures to both of its top quarterbacks, Michael Vick and Nick Foles.[12][13] Kinne was signed to a futures contract with the Eagles in January of 2014. He was released on August 30, but signed to the practice squad the next day.
Or you could go to the eagles on website
A former standout at the University of Tulsa, G.J. Kinne is in his sec- ond season on the practice squad in Philadelphia after spending the latter half of the 2013 season with the unit. Kinne spent the entirety of the 2014 offseason with the Eagles before being released as part of the final roster cuts.

I asked you to name just one team that carries 3 and you pick a team, so sure you had proven me wrong, with one of the qbs bEing on the fucking practice squad.

Calm down. I wasn't referring to you (the backstabbing). Btw, I know what I'm talking about because I've been getting athletes ready for the NFL for years and have quite a few active players in. It's what I do for a living.

True, hundreds (maybe thousands) of religions, which one is right? Most wars are fought over disagreements between the cults (religions).
-
And at the end of the 1st quarter the Atheists have already used up most of their playbook while the Christians still have Faith on the bench.
Well, Bob a skirmish away from the action almost gave the Athiests room to run as the Christian defence compensated but the Athiests failed to read the opportunity and capitalize. Lets go to the chalkboard.

ROFL! Brilliant. Im saving this post

This post by OP obviously flopped hard. No one here questions whether or not Tebow was a christian in real life. His parents brain washed him from a very young age, he is most definitely deeply "involved". Why should we be surprised he prays "off camera"? I mean just look at the dude, he has that typical glazed over maniac eyes, almost like a rabid dog. Those "no ones home" eyes. Would hate to be left alone in a room with a creep like that.
-
Tebow also did himself a disservice by refusing to be a TEAM player.
He melted down in NYJ because he wasn't given the starting job when Sanchise was out.
He REFUSED to accept the "team-first" attitude and just accept the role, as long as the team needs him.
I respect the shit out of Tebow. I would trust him as a babysitter. I cannot think of a better role model in terms of personal integrity and strength of faith. I was a huge tebow fanboy - I think I even made that "tebow MVP" post that got so much hate on getbig lol.
But I'll admit - Tebow cannot read defenses and he misses the open man frequently - Coach, I think you have to even admit these two points, right?
This is a league where even the bottom 1/3 of quarterbacks can hit a wide open man at 30 yards. Tebow could not do this consistently. He's an EXTREMELY rhythm player, and if ANYTHING goes wrong - an extra man in zone D, a blitz, a receiver hesitates for a second to lose his man - then Tebow turns into a running QB. That WORKED for a few games. But he was much slower after that first run. He didn't outrun anyone, and once he had a year of getting hit, he was running like trent Dilfer out there lol.
Coach, there are MANY examples of God-fearing religious role models getting hated on, in this day and age. This is not one of them. Tebow is a great man, but as a football player, he just doesn't have that defensive read ability, and he doesn't have that arm. I don't think ANYONE on getbig is agreeing with you here, dude. And people LOVE to shit on 240 when I'm wrong lol, if I ws wrong, they'd be all over my ass. Tebow isn't good enough to play in the NFL, and he refused to stay on a roster as a backup - he was disruptive in the media, a rather sore loser, when Mcfadden was started over him. The league realized he isn't a good sport- he will whine publicly. Not good. He could have enjoyed 3rd string status FOREVER if he just smiled and went along with the team, as every other NFL player does (or they are cut, like Ray Rice or Peterson will be).

Youre just being a hater because he's christian. ::) ::)

Nobody cares.

::) Most of the people in the US identify as "Christian" and certainly most football fans do. You think its atheists and liberals eating BBQ and slaw in the parking lot before games???
Sponsors aren't going to risk alienating fans by getting rid of a popular player because he's a "Christian". Holy shit you're dumb.

x2.
As stated, I cannot even begin to count how many players after scoring a touchdown, get to their knees, do the sign of the cross, and then point up to their imaginary friend, "God." Not to mention, as you stated, the overwhelming majority of people in this nation identify as christian/catholic.
If you polled a football stadium, I bet the majority of people would identify as a christian/catholic or believing in some sort of God.
As stated, if he had the skills of Tom Brady, any team would have loved to get him. Why would they let someone like that go? Doesn't make sense.

lol, Can Sarah Palin still see Russia from her front door? ::)
Palin never said that. Tina Fey on Saturday Night Live made that up. Anyway back to the thread......
-
*popcorn* lol
-
I looked at this thread and thought of those ads "Athletes Hate Him".
-
And at the end of the 1st quarter the Atheists have already used up most of their playbook while the Christians still have Faith on the bench.
Well, Bob a skirmish away from the action almost gave the Athiests room to run as the Christian defence compensated but the Athiests failed to read the opportunity and capitalize. Lets go to the chalkboard.

Coach doesn't understand atheists very well does he :-\

Sometimes i wonder if coach is the greatest troll ever on getbig
-
I guess you missed the part where I said he got railed out of the nfl because of his Christianity. 32 teams with 4 back ups on each team and arguably the best college QB that's ever played and they can't find him a spot? Let that sink in for a bit.
Man, Jesus must be a horrible talent agent if he can't land "the best college QB that's ever played" a spot...
