I've seen him train, I honestly don't think he understands mind muscle connection or even works the muscles when he trains, he probably just trains his tendons and uses too much momentum or inertia ...complete waste of time.
When I train my muscles are always under constant tension on the negative and somewhat on the positive too and I hold the tension.
sometimes doing only 4-5 reps like that is like doing 12-15 reps the regular way.
You need to feel the muscle you are training all the time.

If Jason Genova ever trained with a real professional trainer such as PJ Braun or similar, he could go places for sure.

Also, do you focus on "ripping the bar in half" when you "row" the bar down to your chest on the barbell bench press? If not, you haven't yet achieved the proper mind/muscle connection.
