Title: Going Clear - Scientology
Post by: El Diablo Blanco on April 03, 2015, 01:40:47 PM
Anyone watch that doc on HBO about scientology?  As much as they tried to make scientology look bad I thought they could swap out scientology with any other religion and it would be the same shit.  Abuse, money hungy, power hungry, intimidation, liars, cheats and assholes.  Despite how bad they tried it's not even 1% as bad as what the catholic church has done.

I think you could make a fair comparison between Scientology and the Vatican but you cannot do the same comparing Jesus to L Ron.  Delusional followers with there own motives is what has warped Christianity today not the teaching of Jesus.  Jesus taught love and pacifism, not to get caught up in worldly living and belongings but unlike these fools of the last century he lived the way he asked others to live and did not try to brainwash to obtain wealth.  I have a problem with the way man has use the church for numerous atrocities and anyone in there right mind to me has the right to be skeptical of any church but I am not skeptical of Christ.  There are over 120 Old Testament predictions that came to pass as a result of Jesus's life and I could understand a great con artist pulling off maybe 10 or 20 but the majority would have been out of his control had he been a simple man.  All that being said I will for life be a follower, a very imperfect follower but a follower non the less.

Jesus is a fictional character. The bible is a complete fabrication, to cover up the fact that the true bible religion was the Magic Mushroom drug cult. Read THE SACRED MUSHROOM AND THE CROSS by John Allegro. It's easy to fake predictions coming true, when the book that records their coming to pass, is itself total fiction. Just read the sermon on the mount. Sounds just like someone stoned out of their mind is speaking. So they dreamed dreams and had visions. No Shit!

a rotten element of the catholic church has done some horrific things.  It is not doctrine however, like it is in scientology.  The amount of good the Catholic Church does the world over blows away any of it's ills and most certainly blows away scientology.

The whole auditing thing was interesting. It is basically a way to turn you into a nutter and get the dirt on you, should you ever try and leave. Cruise looks like some demented accolyte, and the whole xenu stuff is fucking hilarious. I mean, after hearing that, you have to be nuts to believe in any of it.

Some one needs to take them down. Revoke their tax breaks.

become a "true believer", really believe without any doubt, you will go nuts. Doubt is good, keeps you grounded.

The problem with Scientology is they seem very secretive in what their true beliefs really are. I imagine that you need to join in order to discover those beliefs, and even then, what you discover will depend on your rank - which itself it dependent on how much you pay. :-\ :D

no one who imbibes large amounts of magic mushrooms will come up with a story like that, they would barely be able to put pen to paper. And if they did put pen to paper it would be to say god is in all things, all is divine, wake up, meditate, eat mushrooms.

go to www.tonyortega.org...

go to youtube.com and see high ranking officials of scientology ACTUALLY STALKING AND HARASSING former members who are in the documentary and who have spoken out! because you know it's quite normal for a "church/religion" to send it's members out in public to stalk and harass those who have left and spoken out! i mean doesn't every religion do this???!! (sarcasm)

scientology is much MUCH worse then the documentary showed.... being only 2 hours, they left out alot!

example: wife of the leader hasn't been seen in public since 2007! their story? she's working at one of their private compounds in the mountains and happy as can be never to show her face EVER, never to attend ANY scientology event no matter how important, or big or small. the alleged real story?: she pissed off her husband big time and he banished her to this compound and she's being held there. course she's so brainwashed she probably would tell anyone she's happy as can be, wants to be there, etcetera. actress leah remini who was born into the cult who recently left as did her family filed a missing report on the wife,, allegedly the LAPD looked into it, allegedly talked to the wife who said she was alive and well and fine and that was that?! who knows if the LAPD actually took the time to see this person in person and knew it was actually her?...

the thing is how strange and fishy can it get? the wife of the leader of a 'religion' who was everywhere and anywhere for years and years SUDDENLY stops being seen in public for going on 8 years? not once going out to support her husband and/or the religion as the wife of the LEADER! she's happy happy and working working working 24/7 she never thinks she should and never wants to go out in public? really?
likewise simply from a P.R.standpoint the leader with all the crap going down about his "religion" NEVER THINKS he should have her with him to show the public, the world that she's fine? regardless if he thinks he shouldn't have to do this and who cares about the public, ANYWAY with a ounce of intelligence and whatever, would know to show the wife in public JUST ONCE! to prove everything and she is okay....

just this simple story/fact of the "missing" wife is just the tip of the iceberg of this cult and what was NOT shown in the documentary! there is another documentary by director louis theroux for the BBC that is in the works right now.

People of all religions do that, not just Christians. Have you actually ever had a conversation with a devout Muslim/Jew...etc?

A cult is  nothing more than a religion without political power.

Allow me an "Easter themed" metaphor:

Scientology is an egg with layers of insanity beneath a shell of deception. Mormonism is another such egg filled with the base desires of the man that founded it with the caveat that it's outer shell is more sugar coated than Scientology's.  But the nougat inside each of them contain elements of similarity.

Contrast those two with the shit-coated outer shell of the nut of Islam.  Inside is a rich, hate filled nougat of misogyny, pedophilia, torture, intolerance, violence and murder.

More often than not, when a person sets up a "religion", he does so with the idea of making money and getting sex from anyone they desire it with.  Power does indeed corrupt.  In order to gain absolute power one must push that corruption out to the masses.

Sometimes governments are just crap.  And shit comes from a big asshole.  As you know, the turd doesn't fall far from the anus.  Should churches be taxed?  Maybe, but recall the way the IRS treated the "Tea Party" groups and think of just how a really BIG anus would just love to crap all over anyone that they disagree with and taxing people or groups to extinction would be so easy, so "legal".

So "patriotic".  So all about "fairness" and "equality" and all those other libtard and faux conservative terms that the DC crowd flings like so much monkey poo from the pulpits of their "church".  Sounds like absolute power, doesn't it?

I don't think we should tax churches.

Here's my Scientology story. Or my friend's actually.

About 24 years ago when I lived in LA I got a call from a friend. He tells me he accepted a telemarketing job with Scientology. They flew him out from Kansas City and put him up in their big dorms in Hollywood.

He told me they started bombarding him with their dogma the minute he got there. He felt totally uncomfortable and wanted to leave. He told them this was not for him, and that he would reimburse them for the plane fare. They wouldn't let him leave, and held his belongings "hostage".

He was able to sneak to a phone and call me. I went down there with my then wife and infant son to pick him up. He was outside arguing with some guy. He just kept asking for his stuff, and the guy kept on calmly saying "Jim, settle down. Come back in and let's talk". After a couple of minutes of this I rolled down the window and yelled "Just give him his fucking stuff!" The guy turned to look at me and turned right back around without saying a word and started talking to my friend again. A security patrol car then stopped next to us and started talking to someone on his radio. My friend finally just got in the car and left with us.

Long story short, we went to the Hollywood Division police station and spent several hours there waiting to be helped. Finally a cop went back with him and escorted him back to his room to get his stuff. After that incident, I knew they were crazy and dangerous.

And here's what he messaged me last week...

"The day I called you after my escape from the Scientology celebrity center, I was interrogated for almost 24 hours locked in a room two levels down under ground. Each entry point had a card key access so it was very difficult for you to get up to the public area and see day light.

I told them I no longer want to work there because of the low pay and extremely long hours. They then routed me to their Ethics division. There they proceeded to drill me off and on for 24 hours with very little sleep. They thought I was a spy sent from the Government. I repeatedly denied it but they are good at breaking you down. It was terrifying.

I was in process of being sent to another building and being locked up in a room with no windows at some camp outside of LA. I prayed to God for help and a lady in a uniform had walked by and I told her she was to take me up to ground floor. When I got past all the security points, I told her I just needed to use the restroom. I looked for the gated entrance and made a run for it.

I was being chased down by the military Scientology guards but I made it through before the gates closed. I had no money and I was at a pay phone. Fortunately a man gave me some change and that's when I called you... Scientology is a very dangerous org. They are experts in mind control. People have been known to be assigned to the FREE WINDS SHIP and disappear. Once the ship is out beyond international waters, there is no law."

Dangerous shit.

what is known as the sea org (organization) are the ones who wear the ridiculous navy looking attire when they are "official working business" it's their work attire.. they are also the ones who sign the infamous BILLION year contract to stay in, to work for scientology. a billion years? well that's nothing when they believe they are immortal beings, this is just 1 lifetime and 1 body and then will come back in a different body over and over and over again..

oh, and this sea org (the really dedicated and really nutty over the regular nutty scientologists) was created by hubbard who fancied himself a sea/ocean explorer/captain (because he was in world war 2 and decorated with medals and honors captain! uh, the truth was he was relieved of any and all duties because he was a failure accidentally firing on something i forget the story. it was also this time where hubbard (BIGGEST PATHOLOGICAL LAIR AND B.S'ER) claimed he left the service not only with honors and medals but because of various "war" injuries. which also in documented proof was a lie as well.. he claimed various injuries including for a short period blindness and that only his "internal" in depth study of the mind and body that ONLY He discovered (the beginning of his book dianetics, which  then led to scientology) he basically cured himself of any and all injuries.. documents show he had no injuries, certainly not any partial or temporary blindness!....

anyways, for years hubbard made his "base" on this big ole yacht sailing around the world exploring and looking for ways to help mankind and all the members who were on there with him, helping him, became the original sea org members and now it has stucked years and years later, although now of course they are on dry land. the truth is he was on the run from the f.b.i, the i.r.s. and gosh knows who else and that is why he was on the seas/oceans trying to hide from them in international waters!....

watch videos of hubbard on youtube. com and ask yourself how could anyone then or now listen and worship this utter fraud and weirdo insane creepy person...

As a JoeBlow citizen joining them is suicide.
High tier members may have some elbow room and get the advantage of having slaves at their service... although I wonder how higher ups duke it out when it comes to ranking and financial benefits - guess murder is an option at this level.
Would love to join a Cruise ship of Tom "Hubbard" Cruise and watch tragedy after tragedy unfold.

oh, and this sea org (the really dedicated and really nutty over the regular nutty scientologists) was created by hubbard who fancied himself a sea/ocean explorer/captain (because he was in world war 2 and decorated with medals and honors captain! uh, the truth was he was relieved of any and all duties because he was a failure accidentally firing on something i forget the story. it was also this time where hubbard (BIGGEST PATHOLOGICAL LAIR AND B.S'ER) claimed he left the service not only with honors and medals but because of various "war" injuries. which also in documented proof was a lie as well.. he claimed various injuries including for a short period blindness and that only his "internal" in depth study of the mind and body that ONLY He discovered (the beginning of his book dianetics, which  then led to scientology) he basically cured himself of any and all injuries.. documents show he had no injuries, certainly not any partial or temporary blindness!....

anyways, for years hubbard made his "base" on this big ole yacht sailing around the world exploring and looking for ways to help mankind and all the members who were on there with him, helping him, became the original sea org members and now it has stucked years and years later, although now of course they are on dry land. the truth is he was on the run from the f.b.i, the i.r.s. and gosh knows who else and that is why he was on the seas/oceans trying to hide from them in international waters!....

watch videos of hubbard on youtube. com and ask yourself how could anyone then or now listen and worship this utter fraud and weirdo insane creepy person...

i watched another documentary on Scientology last night and it explained better y so many of them wear the naval uniforms...thanx

and ya in Going Clear they talk about Hubbards navy "career" and what a joke he was. Quite comical actually how bad he was

Religion makes people irrational and nutty. Look at Tbombz.
What seemingly made Tbombz is a combination of food, genetics, family dynamics, and that faithful forth night where another young lad decided to take advantage of Thombz innocence and naïveté. A recipe for a slow ticking T bomb....candidate-2025 never made it to the podium...yet.

It's a cult and she is probably dead, murdered by her husband.

Shelly Miscavige was confirmed to be still alive by police a couple of months ago I believe. Shelly's disappearance over the past 8 years was questioned multiple times by Leah Remini who was basically told to STFU and not rock the boat by higher ups in the cult.  This was one of the primary reasons Remini left scientology for good shortly before her appearing on DWTS last year.

I was surprised Shelly's disappearance was not addressed in Going Clear.  Reports claim that HBO had 166 different lawyers review the documentary before it went public.  Perhaps they were advised to leave this and several other well known scandals on the cutting room floor to avoid litigation.

David Miscavige is clearly a Napoleonic deranged little runt.

well ALLEGEDY the LAPD confirmed she's alive and well.. what i mean is, the matter was "investigated" and taken care of in like 1 day or so? calling the missing person claim "unfounded".
the LAPD basically said that just that they talked to her and she was okay? no other details were given? did they talk to her in person? if so, where and when? for how long? did they ask her about her condition and state of mind? did they ask her why she hasn't been seen in years in public? did they take photos of her/videotape her to get a statement? and lastly, how do they KNOW it WAS HER?

all viable questions that were never asked and never detailed by the LAPD in this matter...

and just to let you all know? the man who was in CHARGE of the investigation?...he "shills" for the cult on his off time actually giving community speeches and being scientology sponsored.. NICE!...

also a point could be made that EVEN if she is alive and well, like i posted earlier, why does she (it's her decision)  NEVER EVER EVER is seen in public? when she is the wife of a quote "religious" leader who was for years and years seen anywhere and everywhere and suddenly BAM! nowhere...not once supporting her husband, their faith, at any event or function, no matter how big or important? and the husband, doesn't remotely think it's common sense and simple basic P.R. to show her not only to the public, but even to the fellow members inside this "faith"?... fishier then fish sticks!!

Yes it reeks and your questions are all relevant.

Nothing surprises me any longer regarding this cult.  The power they seem to hold over their adherents is beyond belief.

I put nothing past megalomaniac Miscavige.  Scientology is disintegrating which will drive him to even more extreme behavior.  Multiple reports claim he and his wife slept in separate bedrooms and were never once observed showing any kind of affection.  He isn't driven by pussy, he is driven by power and ego over all else.

true sign its a cult................

when u do your auditing(main purpose of Scientology) they video tape, record and keep files of it all. They ask you to tell them your darkest and most personal secrets...and keeep a complete record of it. WTF. The only reason to do this obviously is to hold it over you if they feel the need.

and how screwed up in the head  do you have to be ESPECIALLY IF YOUR A CELEB!!!!! to sit across from some auditor and be ASKED! extremely intimate questions by a RELIGION! including about your sex life (acts, thoughts, fantasies, etcetera) and see them writing your answers down (and secretly videotaping you as well if the stories told are true?!) and keeping what you said in a quote "permanent file" (and for what purpose?)....

"oh, i feel so much better telling this auditor (and my religion) my sexual perversions and acts, it's a relief, just like therapy, i feel so much better!'

ARE YOU FRICKING KIDDING ME! ANYONE AND I MEAN ANYONE with half a ounce of self respect, awareness and intelligence would be UTTERLY FREAKED OUT AND WEIRDED OUT AND PISSED that they were even BEING ASKED SUCH QUESTIONS IN THE FIRST PLACE AND BY A "RELIGION?"!!! and then to see them writing down what you say?! and keeping it?! anyone you would think would get up and run out of the scientology building it would bring up dust! and to think famous celebs have done this countless times? it truly defies all common sense and believability!!!!

makes me think if they were that dumb, stupid and gullible "it's a religion, my religion they would never do anything to harm me, much less blackmail me or leak what i say to anyone!" to do this, then they DESERVE WHAT THEY GET!..i mean  don't you think anyone especially if your a famous celeb you would DIE OF EMBARASSMENT sitting across from some "auditor" whose not a friend, not a loved one, not a family member and telling them face to face your sex life?!!

OH BY THE WAY, THIS JUST IN: the leader of this cult, i mean religion has just been accused of spying on his own father! it's everywhere this news... course the cult will say "it's all lies, like everything and everyone is!"..

the thing is: what does it say when the father and mother of the LEADER of this "religion" leaves it? not to mention the niece of the leader leaving it and writes a book and speaks out against it!...

You never know a person's motives and the background story. I think a "celebrity", aka servant to help control the public, has ample access to goods an average citizens considers life long goals - for example wealth, beautiful living, etc.
So when you have things that others aspire to have, all their life for the most part, your belief system and priorities change... where's the dangling carrot for the privileged?
Enter eternal life, super powers, space origins, being part of a secret elite, etc.
Add to that the need for control and you have the perfect breeding ground for such cults and their followers.
I think many celebrities are just like the guy/girl next door - gullible, curious and uninformed.
