so according to my research, if keto provides no metabolic shift or advantAge in terms of fat burning, and it really comes down to calorie content....then WHY do prep coaches and serious fitness
People advocate keto so much? Is it because its easier to eat less and less cravings?
They always say "it shifts your body to burn your own body fat for fuel"...Well if there is no distinct metabolic advantage, then how is that the case?

The only one who is confused about keto is you.

First study on Google I looked at had the Keto dieters losing nearly twice as much fat as the low fat dieters

The body should not have to "shift" as fat is the preferred fuel for low intensity activity. However, many people eat carbs to the point where their glycogen storage space is filled to capacity, but they still have high blood sugar which is toxic. The body's response to this is to use glucose to supply energy for low intensity activity.
So, this whole "fat adapted" thing is just getting your body to do what it should be doing in the first place.

The reason im asking is i want to incorporate oats into my keto lifestyle because my LdL is taking a huge hit (191!)
And oat always helped me bring it down in the past, but i dont want to ruin the benefits of doing keto
