How do you know when you're "recovered"?
How do you know if [ protein shake, pre-workout supplement, stretching, cardio routine, "deep tissue" massage ] "helps recovery"?
Always been a very nebulous concept for me...

It all depends on the girl, if she is smoking hot usually 3 minutes is all I need , no need for a protein shake either just start drilling the pussy again
If she is averaging then slam a protein shake recovery about 10 to 15 minutes then pump away again,
IF She is FAT AND ugly , chug a dr pepper instead and wait 30 min for recovery to begin

Haha... I took two weeks vacation. First week I just sat in my house and ate until it hurt. Probably averaged 8000+ cals / day that week. The first 24 hours I stuffed myself with probably 15000+, no exaggeration.
Packed on a little fat, but little to no muscle, I think. The muscles seem to be waking slowly, but I think its going to take some time. My workouts have just started to feel somewhat less... torturous.

But seriously, I always wondered how people judged 'recovery'. The closest I ever got to any notion of assessing recovery was through the question, 'does the thought of going to the gym today terrify me?'
If 'no', I'm 'recovered' ;D

You just train when you have time. Sleep enough and eat the healthy stuff. You know what that includes.

When I am 22 years old again. Recovery for an old geezer like me usually means you've had to go to the hospital....not a good thing!

If you're waking up in the morning feeling sluggish, up your man gravy intake (preferably straight from the tap) and add in some upright rows on shoulder day. Total plateau buster
