Haha... I took two weeks vacation. First week I just sat in my house and ate until it hurt. Probably averaged 8000+ cals / day that week. The first 24 hours I stuffed myself with probably 15000+, no exaggeration.
Packed on a little fat, but little to no muscle, I think. The muscles seem to be waking slowly, but I think its going to take some time. My workouts have just started to feel somewhat less... torturous.

But seriously, I always wondered how people judged 'recovery'. The closest I ever got to any notion of assessing recovery was through the question, 'does the thought of going to the gym today terrify me?'
If 'no', I'm 'recovered'
