Are complete morons.
All they do is microwave them. Why have they not learned that any grocery store has a large Microwave meal section.
Me, personally, would never even consider the microwave isle. I figure I may as well at least educate these retards and give them this info.

Adonis, its to keep them adherent to a diet without any troubles or worries about meal prep or cooking. Very expensive though

Not only is about convenience but not all frozen foods are equal. For example, some believe in the Zone diet (you make think they are idiots just for that, but that's a separate issue) so what to use just their products. Same with Atkins, Paleo whatever.
You may not adhere to any set macro nutrient profile but many do. You can make a valid argument as to what kind of diet they believe in but how they adhere to that diet is pointless to argue. People that have money to spare are going to pick the easiest and most convenient method. For many, finding the time to go to the grocery store: parking, shopping, standing in line; is too time consuming.
When I stopped by the grocery store yesterday to pick up some items I got home 45 minutes later than I normally do.
You know how many selfies DLB can take in 45 minutes?

Ah, good point. I forgot about prep time.

Even if you were one of those dumbfucks calculating macronutrients, you can find thousands and thousands and thousands of microwave meals of even better quality then the garbage nonsense these morons are buying at a premium price.
You could put together any Macro profile you wanted at the grocery store microwave isle. How stupid can these people be?
-

MyMightyMeals in Chicago only charges 7 bucks a meal. Which, for people with money, is not unreasonable.

MightyMightyStupid and pathetic.
The meals look like shit and are a waste of money. Poor quality. I just pulled up their site. Better can be had at any grocery store.

Again, it's because some don't have the time, to go to a grocery store.
A friend I know is a stunt man in Cali and he has to drive all around the State for jobs that come up randomly. He recently spent all day and most of the night on the set (mostly doing nothing). It's 2 am and he has to get up at 7:00 am. He's not going to a 24 grocery store. He's going to stop by a drive through and eat in his car on his way home. On his days off he has chores and laundry to do. Sometimes he just doesn't want to make a special trip to the grocery store.
With your berry picky and muffin baking you seem to have a lot of leisure time. Not everyone is so blessed.
-
it was jay curler videos in the early 2000's that motivated me to learn how to cook some basic meals, besides huge money savings it also is healthier

I'm with Adonis. Lean Cuisine Chicken Fettucine is in every store and often on sale for $2 or less. I'm around 17% BF but only because my best bud works at Dunkin Donuts.

A man who cannot cook for himself is not a man. I cannot believe a grown person cannot cook. Talk about being a mama's boy.
I was just reading something about being "privileged" and someone commented that sometimes it isn't really very privileged because they are spoon fed and don't know how to do shit on their own. I guess I thank god me and my siblings were somewhat latchkey kids who learned how to cook for ourselves.
How can you be a bodybuilder and not know how to cook? It's like being a photographer and not knowing how to develop film (in the old days).
-

Right next to Ice Cream Mountain usually.

and yet a calorie is just a calorie and your micronutrients dont really matter.
So whats the problem with the microwave aisle?
Not everyone lives a life of lesiure on daddies money, some people have to work.

Nutritionally the same as fresh made.
Cals protein fat carb contents all fine.
Whats wrong with them?
-
Gotta`agree with Adam on this one, just plain dumb not to cook your own food so you know just exactly what you`re eating and how it is/was prepared.

Hes the one who keeps telling everyone a calorie is a calorie and then calls packet meals shit.
Sure, they may not taste as nice as homemade and work out more expensive, but its food at the end of the day isnt it?

The cooking method ensures uneven cooking. The ingredients used are subpar, everything is already pre-cooked so it is by default overcooked already. Did I mention that Microwaves are only good for three or four things- steaming vegetables, drying out herbs, melting chocolate and boiling water.
If you prefer microwave dinners, then so be it, there is nothing I can do about your 7 year old taste buds.
-

True,I don`t agree with the calorie is a calorie thingy, but if I buy my food fresh or from the shopping mart,at least I know it`s healthy.
You have no idea how that pre-packaged food looked before they cooked it.
Besides,I eat simple bb type meals for the most part, nothing too elaborate as a rule and it`s pretty fast to whip up some chicken, rice, and veggies or a salad.
Just my 2 cents................... can`t see spending tons of money on that shit as you know it`s overpriced and just for the lazy or rich/well off or clueless.............all of which I`m not.,especially the rich part! :(

Yep. Its a shame you don't understand that Walnut-Pecan Pie and Ricotta-Lemon Pancakes with Grade-B Wolven Maple Syrup is also food at the end of the day.
You need a little tupperware container labeled for a child in order to ease your eating anxieties so you can continue to look the same as you did 15 years ago.

20 years ago now actually
Winning a class in an area show 20 years ago and looking the same now is quite a feat.
Not even Branch Warren can say that.
-
You also have to remember that Adam loves to cook as many others do.
Just pressing a few buttons on some shit that you have no clue as to who prepared is not good in my book.
Again, just my thoughts, not trying to make a federal case out of it Jeffrey! :D

I bet you have a 12v AC-DC converter in your Opel Kadett so you can plug in a travel microwave for your oats and whey slush mix. Gotta stay anabolic bro.

You look great. But I bet I would look no different than I do now if I did exactly as you do.

The question is - could you order anything at all, given your piss poor ability to earn money?
-

You dont know what I do.
I eat a pretty much balanced western diet year round, I eat what I like when I like, I dont count cals macros at all.
I just look in the mirror occasionally to keep me on track.

Is a microwave dinner just a microwave dinner? ???

I wouldn't buy you for 125 dollars on sale, even if you were the last slave on the auction block. You would probably commit suicide as soon as you weren't allowed to Twitter yourself.

7 bucks can buy Goodrum a lot of chicken breast.

Lol
The isle of microwave. It's just off the coast of South Sporting Goods
-
microwave kills your food, period dot.
it's probably one of many reason Americans are nutrient deficient.

Most food is already dead when you put it in the microwave. Or at least that is the humane thing to do. Please kill your food before you microwave it. :'(

No hate at all. It's just funny when a guy who's piss poor is following you around and "preaching" how to spend money. I actually find that hilarious, it's like a fatso speaking his mouth off on being fit.

I'm pretty sure TA is wealthier than most on this board. He has land, a Victorian home with 100 year old floors, nice cars, doesn't have to work. He pretty much does whatever he wants, when he wants. Pretty sure he can preach about money spending whenever he wants. :-\

I'm trying to help you save money, not spend it, genius. Of course you wouldn't know anything about any of that because you are nothing but a rabid consumer who believes in a throwaway society. Go fuck yourself with your IGadgets.

Take care of your own "money". All I ever cared is how to EARN more, not to save more (the later is how poor people think. And that is why they/you are poor).
BTW - save for what? I have enough to save too, what's the point of "saving" it excessively, when I may be dead tomorrow. I could drive a cheap car, eat cheap food, visit cheap places and buy cheap clothes, just to....................di e with a coffin full of money? No, thanks.

ROFLAMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOO
I have you pegged perfectly. Illustrated my point better than I could have imagined.
You have the typical Hebrew mentality. Nothing in the bank, nothing accumulated, a 3000 dollar 10 year old Audi pretending to be "successful".
In America, we call that "Hood Rich".
"gator boots with the pimped out Gucci suits , aint got no job , but I STAY FLY- cant pay my rent all my money spent but thats ok cause im still FLY
got everythang in my moma name but thats ok cause i stay sharp"

You fukkin ugly fool, it is 9k EURO audi currently and a 23k euro BMW that is being delivered to me as we speak. And yes - account is far from empty, contrary to YOURS. Ain't got no job, lmfao, I've written five times amount of code than you've posted your worthless piece of shit posts here over the last ten years. I've created my first website when such a fukkin bigmouth like you did not even know what does it mean html at that time. What is your job you cumface? Moving lawn, painting rich peoples houses? Maybe taking interviews from men in thong?
You are a poor peasant and speak loudly about how to spend/save/use money? lol... but it is not the first time that you speak about stuff that you only have a THEORETICAL idea, but no real life experience.

Considering that cars are like 10-30 times more expensive in Europe than in the United States, that makes you even look worse.
Hope this helps.

No they aren't, the BMW is 23k (minor collision), after it's repaired it will be about 26-27k, which is still about 5grand less than buying the same but in Europe. Far from a drastic change. You have no fukkin idea of what are you talking about. When you will be ABLE to buy these cars - come back and we will speak, for now - drive your rotten Lincoln or whatever shitbox you are driving, because you are stashing money for your flashy funeral.
-

Best car I've ever owned, completely no serious issues, only a huge comfort, safety and genarally a pleasure to drive even for a very long time without getting tired. Worth every penny spent (and lost). You speak like a usualy poor person who simply can't afford some stuff, so hating is the only way that's left.

Jesus Christ, you need help. Buying a used BMW that has been wrecked. Oh boy. You need your head examined. PM Parker, perhaps he can help you.

Lol.. you clearly have no idea. Most of these expensive cars that you see "not wrecked" on a craiglist or a used cars market place - have been in a collision, just a difference is that you don't see what the actual damage was.

Ever heard of carfax. Besides, if you knew anything about cars, you can easily tell when parts have been replaced by just looking at it or even running an OBD scan.
If you want my advice, NEVER buy a wrecked BMW. Worst decision ever. Thats just plain being stupid.

I heard about carfax, and my friends who have been doing this bussines for the last 15 years in Germany heard about it, if you trust an OBD scan you are just a regular naive american who think everyhing is what it looks like. Thanks, but I'll better take my friends advice. And if I buy a used car - I'll better buy one after a small accident than a "completely good one" (people usualy doesn't sell an expensive car that has been barely driven for no reason).

What makes you think TA is piss poor? He never talks about his financial status but there is nothing about him to suggest he is poor. Quite the opposite.
He may not have the ability to earn money because it seems like he doesn't work. But that certainly doesn't mean he doesn't have money.
Besides, there's no way the lovely Jezzebelle (TA, please give her my regards) would settle for a loser. She's way too sophisticated and cultured to slum around in pedestrian swill.

He thinks (about money) just like every single poor person that Ive met. He talks about everything, but not his finances, you are right, and that is most probably for a good reason. Its easy to be smart on a online board, real life...well thats another question.
I wouldnt even talk about this, but dude brought it on himself. I dont own a private jet for ex, I couldnt, so I keep my mouth shut about how expensive it would be to keep it and so on..

TA stirring the pot again. Never fails to bring out the less self-controlled Getbiggers.

Nope. He's livin' off the grid, buys expired food, wears same clothes for five years and never takes more than 100bucks per week from his parents. Saving for the "hard times", and..... eagerly waiting when these times will come.

Where'd you come up with all that? Pretty sure all of that is false. As for saving up, I too save every penny I can. Not for the "hard times" as you put it. Instead, I save for an early retirement. :-\

To be honest I haven't followed TA's postings at all here, just haven't got my interest, so I have basically no awareness about specifics of this getbig handle, merely making personal guesses and who knows - maybe dude is a real deal. He's probably not very liked here. I've already got a few PM's with a private info, don't know how much of that is true, and not gonna go into it any further as I don't have time for it, but if it's true then I'd fuckin die laughing. Let's leave it at that.

I think that one of the important, intangible personality characteristics that a person following a diet is 1) the willingness to shop for quality food and 2) the willingness to take the time to prepare and cook the food.
The people that buy frozen meals never develop that discipline. They refuse to set aside time to prepare anything.
I bet that Arnold, Menzter, Platz, Zane, Haney, Yates ect.... Had no problem grocery shopping and cooking.
People used to complain about Jay Cutler's DVD's because he spent a lot of time cooking. I remember in one of Jay's DVDs he used a pair of heavy duty kitchen scissors to trim the excess fat of of some raw steaks. I'm glad that Jay included that segment. It was real life food prep. In the same DVD Jay cooked old fashioned oatmeal on the stovetop. He boiled water in a stainless steel pot and cooked the oats the traditional way.

There are very few foods that are good out of microwave.
Cooking chicken in a microwave.....horrific. Heck cooking any meat in a microwave is horrible.
Veggies can be cooked in a microwave and they aren't terrible. Some are pretty good.
I even reheat most leftovers in the oven.
Frozen meals for the most part are nasty. There are some acceptable ones, but most need an oven to heating/cooking.

I just checked out that website, and their food actually looks pretty decent. It's a little pricey, but if you have a busy schedule and need the convenience, then it's probably worth it. Overall cost would be about twice what you'd pay buying from Frozen Food Island. However, the food looks like it would taste much better.

Ta has helped me get over 160k from the state and federal government overthe last 3 years

I'm sick of the government ripping us off why they live high on the hog.

There was such a canadian series called "Masterminds", about various crooks, thieves, etc... and the narrator would always ask a question at the beging - "How did he do it?".
So... how did he do it?

Like? Brands? Examples of grocery microwave meals with same macros?

Johnny or TA, please let me know how I too can get 160K from the govt. I would like to share in the spoils as well. That would go a long way in buying tv dinners. ???

I figured I would experiment with Microwave Isle, and the results were less than satisfactory. I'm not sure how they can call it "fried chicken" when the breading is soggy. :-\

Not sure whether this has already been addressed, but the sodium content is a lot lower, something that matters to a great deal of people. I only began eating copious amounts of added salt pretty late in life, but many people younger than me are still seeking ways to limit their intake.
The meats are all previously frozen, so the quality of the proteins is pretty much identical.
But apart from sodium, another primary difference is that the boutique meals are being prepared twice a week in most cases, so the vegetables are going to be fresher. :)
That said, paying $7-8 for a $1.25 (retail) meal 6x a day is something most people would be absolutely foolish to do.
It's worth it to me, however, to have a meal delivery service, because of those yoga pants she wears when she drops by.

Total bullshit.
There are low sodium microwave dinners at any grocery store and the frozen vegetables at any grocery store are fresher as they are flash frozen when picked at the factory. At your nonsense meal place, you may have no idea the process they use, but it will not be near as good as what the large companies like Bird's Eye do. Also their crop will be better.
Hope this helps.

So micro meals are OK after all?

Would probably exist on frozen and microwave shit (or takeaways) if I didn't have a lass to cook for me, I hate cooking, suck at it and don't care to waste any time doing it
