Nope. He's livin' off the grid, buys expired food, wears same clothes for five years and never takes more than 100bucks per week from his parents.  Saving for the "hard times", and..... eagerly waiting when these times will come.

That's Goodrum.

There are very few foods that are good out of microwave.

Cooking chicken in a microwave.....horrific.  Heck cooking any meat in a microwave is horrible.

Veggies can be cooked in a microwave and they aren't terrible.  Some are pretty good.

I even reheat most leftovers in the oven.

Frozen meals for the most part are nasty.   There are some acceptable ones, but most need an oven to heating/cooking.

MyMightyMeals in Chicago only charges 7 bucks a meal. Which, for people with money, is not unreasonable.

MightyMightyStupid and pathetic.

The meals look like shit and are a waste of money.  Poor quality.  I just pulled up their site.  Better can be had at any grocery store.

I just checked out that website, and their food actually looks pretty decent.  It's a little pricey, but if you have a busy schedule and need the convenience, then it's probably worth it.  Overall cost would be about twice what you'd pay buying from Frozen Food Island.  However, the food looks like it would taste much better.

There was such a canadian series called "Masterminds", about various crooks, thieves, etc... and the narrator would always ask a question at the beging - "How did he do it?".
So... how did he do it?

Like? Brands? Examples of grocery microwave meals with same macros?

Johnny or TA, please let me know how I too can get 160K from the govt.  I would like to share in the spoils as well.  That would go a long way in buying tv dinners.   ???

I figured I would experiment with Microwave Isle, and the results were less than satisfactory.  I'm not sure how they can call it "fried chicken" when the breading is soggy.   :-\

Not sure whether this has already been addressed, but the sodium content is a lot lower, something that matters to a great deal of people.  I only began eating copious amounts of added salt pretty late in life, but many people younger than me are still seeking ways to limit their intake.

The meats are all previously frozen, so the quality of the proteins is pretty much identical.

But apart from sodium, another primary difference is that the boutique meals are being prepared twice a week in most cases, so the vegetables are going to be fresher. :)

That said, paying $7-8 for a $1.25 (retail) meal 6x a day is something most people would be absolutely foolish to do.

It's worth it to me, however, to have a meal delivery service, because of those yoga pants she wears when she drops by.

Total bullshit.

There are low sodium microwave dinners at any grocery store and the frozen vegetables at any grocery store are fresher as they are flash frozen when picked at the factory.  At your nonsense meal place, you may have no idea the process they use, but it will not be near as good as what the large companies like Bird's Eye do.  Also their crop will be better.

Hope this helps.

So micro meals are OK after all?

Would probably exist on frozen and microwave shit (or takeaways) if I didn't have a lass to cook for me, I hate cooking, suck at it and don't care to waste any time doing it
